stt:ch.3 [M-I-C-K-E-Y (Pt.1)]

"Brian!" Kaylie hissed at him as they stood outside the gates to enter the park.

"Huh? What?" Brian whipped his head around and bumped into Kevin in the process. They'd met up with he and AJ ten minutes ago and were waiting for Nick and Howie to join them. Kevin glared at him annoyed not really wanting to be at Disney at the moment. He already gave his life to the business, why'd he have to give it one of his few Saturdays?

"Oh, sorry Kev." Brian said distractedly as he turned his attention to Kaylie."What K?"

"Who's that?" Kaylie whispered nodding towards where Nick was walking up to them. Brian turned and rolled his eyes.

"God, I wish he didn't bring her! Why? Now the day'll never go smoothly." He mumbled to himself but Kaylie heard.

"What? Who's that?" Kaylie again asked, her attention focused on the woman who walked a good few feet away from Nick yet still seemed to watch his every moved. Her hair was pulled up in a professional looking twist while her mouth turned downward. As they walked closer Kaylie could overhear her bickering.

"Now Nicky, we're not going to be here all day right?" She whined.

"Don't call me Nicky! And I don't know, it's depending on what the guys want to do." Nick answered obviously annoyed at her comments.

"Nicky! I don't want to be here all day! God, the kids, the noise, how can you stand it?" She went on as they walked up to Brian and Kaylie.

Kaylie stood there amused as Brian plastered a smile on his face.

"Just smile and nod and she won't bite your head off." Brian mumbled to her as Nick drew closer. Kaylie nodded in response and too plastered on a smile though she then knew that she had no intention of playing nicely.

"Mandy! How nice of you to join us! When Nick called he seemed to act as if you weren't going to be joining us today! Why the sudden change of heart?" Brian asked warmly.

"Brian. Hi. I didn't want Nicky here walking around a park all day without me." She stated as she glared at Kaylie.

"Who's that?" She asked directing her comment to Nick as she continued to stare at Kaylie.

Kaylie rolled her eyes and extended her hand.

"Hi, I'm Kaylie. I've known Brian and the guys for years. I'm surprised I've never met you. And you would be...?" She asked dropping her hand as she saw that Mandy had no intention of shaking it.

"You're with Brian?" She stated still staring at Kaylie.

"We're best friends so yes, I guess. What's your name again?" She asked clenching her teeth.

"Nicky, why's she here? I thought this was just a promotion?" Mandy turned to Nick. Brian groaned, his face turning red with anger at the way Mandy was treating Kaylie.

"No, MANDY, this is for FUN. You know, kind of what you do when you max out one of Nick's credit cards without his knowledge? This is OUR fun. We're just doing some surprise promo stuff to help out the sales of Black and Blue in a few weeks." Brian calmly explained as he grabbed Kaylie's hand which was shaking from anger. "This, is Kaylie. She's been my friend and has known us far longer than you've been scaring Nick, no offense bro. I expect, no, WE expect," he said motioning to the rest of the group, "that you treat her with respect. Just because you haven't earned ours doesn't mean that you have to be a bitch to her too." Brian spat out and turned walking through the gates with Kaylie following closely behind.

"Well, isn't it a nice day out!" AJ choked out jokingly trying to break the tension in the air.

"Nicky, we're not going to be here all day. I don't like, that, that girl. You better not either." Mandy said with squinted eyes. Her face was red from embarrassment and twisted in anger.

"Mandy, for the last time, don't call me Nicky. Anyway, Kaylie's not too bad once you get to know her." Nick shouted. As he realized the words that came out of his mouth his eyes widened.

"What do you mean NOT TOO BAD??" Mandy screeched.

"Mandy, just, I don't know, just get over it." Nick said as he walked off leaving a fuming Mandy standing there.

* * *

"Bri, you didn't have to do that." Kaylie whispered as they walked away from the commotion.

"Yes I did! Kay, you don't know how LONG I've been waiting to do that!" He grinned.

"Well, if it made you feel better..." Kaylie started as her ears strained to hear Nick and Mandy's conversation.

"Kay, I've been thinking--" Brian started.

"Hush, hold on a sec Bri." Kaylie silenced him with her finger.

"Anyway, Kaylie's not too bad once you get to know her..." They heard.

"Bri, did you just hear what I heard?" Kaylie whispered to Brian in shock. Brian slowly nodded his head in return, his mouth open in shock.

"Shh, he's coming this way, don't say nothing." Kaylie muttered and turned her back to Nick as he walked up.

"So B, where ya wanna go first? I was thinking about starting the day off at Splash Mountain? Whatcha think? Oh, Carter, didn't hear you come up." Kaylie acknowledged his presence.

"Ya, sounds good to me." Brian responded and the two began to walk off.

"Umm, hello? Over here?? Best friend in need of venting???" Nick yelled to him as they walked off.

"Oh, sorry. What's the matter?" Brian rolled his eyes discreetly to Kaylie to stifled a laugh. Nick shot her a glare and returned to his problem at hand.

"Did you hear her? Is she crazy? I mean, what's her problem? I thought bringing her here would loosen her up for a little while but it's like she's just pulled the leash around my neck tighter!" Nick grumbled. Brian started to laugh.

"You're just NOW getting this feeling? God Nick, it's taken you long enough. Hey, she's your girl, either YOU deal with her, or you ditch her, it's not my thing to say. Now, are you going to come with us and have a fun day or stand here being pissed all day? Choice is yours..." Brian wandered off.

"Ya, I'm coming. Kevin said to meet him at the castle at noon. We've got a good hour or two." Nick said as they began to walk before Kaylie came to a sudden halt. A smile appeared on her face as she turned to Nick.

"Carter. What about that wonderful girlfriend of yours? Won't she be wanting to come with us? Cause I sure as hell know if that's the case there's no way that you're tagging along with me and Brian." She joked.

"You sure do have a way with words don't you? Well, as far as I'm concerned, hell with her. She wants to find us then fine. If not, she know's to meet at noon. NOW, can we GO?" He said jumping up and down anxiously like a little boy.

"Hold your horses Tiger. We've got all day." Kaylie said with a smirk.

"But it's DISNEY WORLD!! Come on guys!" Nick shouted and grabbed Brian's hand as he started to run. Brian, bewildered (My word of the day lol. It's a great word don't you think? Bewildered. It's right up there with poppy scotch! Don't ask, yes I realize I'm acting a little out of it. Let's just say I'm having what I would like to call a "blonde" moment lol.) grabbed onto Kaylie's hand and began running to keep up with Nick. As far as strange days go, this one was starting out along that road. Who was to know what was to come...

* * *

"Kevin! Kevin!" Mandy hissed at the eldest of the boys. He inwardly groaned and slowly turned to face her.

"Yes?" He answered dryly.

"Looks like it's just you and me today!" She answered with a sickly sweet smile on her face. Kevin felt like jumping up and down and throwing a temper tantrum. Why, just why couldn't he have taken off with AJ and Howie? But no! He had to get stuck with Mandy of all people.

"Yep, looks that way doesn't it." Kevin said as he started to walk away. Mandy hurriedly caught up and grabbed hold of his arm dragging him closer to her. Looking down he saw her glaring at him.

"Look here. I don't want to be here just as much as you. Make this a little easier on the both of us and just pretend to have fun. It should be easy, I do it all the time with Nick." She angrily whispered to him.

"No Mandy, you're wrong. I WANT to be here, just not with you. You can find something to entertain yourself on your own. Go torment some damned Disney character for all I care. Just leave me alone! I was looking forward to a relaxing day and then you show up. I don't know what Nick sees in you or if he's just looking to get laid but damn! Can't you get lost by now?!" Kevin shouted at her gaining a few alarmed glances by other tourists. Pulling down his hat closer to his head to hide who he was he looked at her.

"Listen, we're meeting at the castle at noon. If you want to piss us off any more than you already have, be there." He said before stalking off.

"Well FINE then! I know when I'm not wanted!" She shouted to his retreating back. Kevin just laughed in response making Mandy blush a deep shade of red.

"So, I was thinkin Splash Mountain?" Nick said eagerly as he, Brian, and Kaylie walked around the park in search of the perfect first ride.

"Who put you in charge of making all our decisions today?" Kaylie grumbled, still not sure how she felt about Nick spending the day with she and Brian.

"Ok! That's it! Both of you, just shut up!" Brian yelled and grabbed their arms to stop the two from walking away. Both had wide eyes and slack jaws from Brian's outburst. Dropping their arms Brian continued.

"Listen. I'm only going to say this once more so help me God." He started. "You two are my best friends in the world. I love you more than anything but for God's sake! It wouldn't hurt you once in a while to GET ALONG. Just for me! I don't give a damn if your faking it or not! Just don't do it around me! I'm so sick and tired of all the bickering! Brian! Nick looked at me," Brian mimicked Kaylie, "Brian, Kaylie's talkin' shit again!" He mocked Nick," Just stop it! I love you both dearly. You're killing me here. If the two of us-" he said holding Kaylie's hand," and the two of us-" he said throwing his arm over Nick's shoulders," get along so well, why can't you two. It makes no sense to me. Now please. One day. That's all I ask. Just one day! Please!" Brian begged close to tears.

Kaylie and Nick stood in shock just registering all that Brian had just said. Slowly they came around and Kaylie threw her arms around Brian in a hug.

"Bri, God. I'm so sorry. I love you, ya know. I'm so sorry. Really, I'll try." She said sobbing, her body trembling (OT: OMG! Fav part of B&B!! Brian says TREMBLES. I LOVE THAT PART!! Ok, now back to the story...). Brian held her tightly and rocked her back and forth slowly until she'd calmed. Nick stood there staring at the two.

Damn. They're so cute together. Hell, anyone'd be cute with Kaylie. Just look at her! Her long legs. The blonde hair. Those eyes. I can never get past the eyes. Brian's gonna be one lucky guy when he gets her. One lucky guy. Why can't I get her? I wanna be a lucky guy too. And those eyes! He thought and slightly grinned. Walking over to the two he gently pulled on Kaylie's braid and pulled the two apart.

"For what it's worth, my part in this whole thing, I'm real sorry. Frick, damn, you know I love ya. You're my bro! I'll, I'll try. And in advance, for the next jackassed thing I do, Kaylie, well, I'm sorry." Nick mumbled the later.

Brian stood there holding onto Kaylie loving the feel of her in his arms. He was truly happy at that moment. He had the girl he loved most close to him, and his two best friends agreeing to try to at least be in friendly terms with one another. Grinning Brian began to walk forward with the other two.

"Now, was that so hard? If I knew I just had to shed a few tears sooner, y'all would have been best of buddies years ago!" He joked and dodged the swats he gained from the others.

"Not funny! Littrell! I swear, sometimes I just, erg!" Kaylie laughed as she grabbed onto his arm and let him escort her around.

"What Ms. Kaylie? What was that? Do you have a problem with me?" Brian said smiling as he reached up and threw her over his shoulder. Nick watched on amused and saddened at the same time. Brian and Kaylie were so carefree with one another yet Kaylie and Nick couldn't seem to get along if it was the last thing they did. Kaylie screamed as Brian twirled her around in the air with ease. Nick stood there getting more and more jealous as the seconds passed. He began to fidget with his hands and was soon jumping up and down like a little boy.

"Um, you guys! Can we please GO??" He whined.

"So you really DO whine." Kaylie said dryly smoothing down her shirt, her face flushed.

"I do no whine!!" Nick retorted with an indignant look on his face.

"SURE you don't Nick! Yes, we can go." Brian laughed.

"It's about time." Nick grumbled.

As they walked away Kaylie stole a glance over at Nick. He really wasn't fat like she many a time had picked on him. And sure, he did whine, but it made him seem like a little boy, so cute and impatient. She smiled then immediately frowned. She COULDN'T be thinking of Nick this way! This WAS the same Nick who put pink hair dye in her shampoo, though she could pull off the hue. Glancing over to the two of them as she walked she for the first time noticed Brian's strong jaw. Giggling to herself she mentally slapped herself. She'd known Brian HOW long and she was JUST noticing this? As she continued to walk she kept glancing over at him out the corner of her eye. He's got really pretty eyes. They're a beautiful shade of blue. She thought then quickly turned away as Brian looked at her. Brian again looked at her quickly with question in his eyes. Kaylie blushed. He CAN'T know what I was thinking! She laughed and brushed it off as they continued to walk.

* * *

She was just looking at me! She had to be! And more than once! Brian thought giddily and grinned. You've still got it Littrell he laughed. Maybe she feels the same for me as I do for her! I've GOT to ask her tonight! I'll wait for the perfect time then ask. This is all going to work out! He said to himself as he noticed Nick looking at him strangely.

"What?" He asked.

"Oh, nothing. It's just that the two of you have been looking at one another for the past five minuets now thinking that the other hasn't noticed and have now both got the biggest Cheshire Cat grins on your face. But maybe I'm just imagining it??" He laughed as he watched Kaylie's face turn a dark shade of red.

"Were NOT!!" They both yelled simultaneously.

"If you say so! Race ya to the ride!" Nick yelled to them as he sprinted away towards Splash Mountain leaving the embarrassed Brian and Kaylie behind him.

* * *

"Ok, so, I say we ditch the rides and go look for some girls." AJ grinned at Howie as they made their way around the theme park.

"AJ! Man, you've got a one track mind." Howie laughed and shook his head. "What happened to Amy? I thought you were with her last night?" He asked.

"Oh, ya, that. I was. We decided it wasn't gonna work." AJ said breezily as they continued to walk.

"You had break up sex last night didn't you." Howie laughed.

"Hell ya! I mean, it's the best. Sometimes I think it's better just to break up with them then actually dating them!" AJ laughed.

"Ya, that's real sweet. I sure wish I could be one of your girlfriends!" They heard from behind them. Turning AJ saw the most beautiful girl. She had long dark hair and pretty almond shaped eyes. Her midriff was showing and she had on little elf shoes.

"Umm, excuse me?" AJ asked cockily. Howie rolled his eyes as he knew what was to come. AJ did the same thing all the time. He either flirted an excessive amount, or he tried his best to piss off the girl to get her attention. To Howie's disbelief it seemed to work every time for him.

"I said I wished I was one of your girlfriends, though it was purely in a sarcastic nature. I doubt you could satisfy me anyway." She stated dryly as she flipped her silky hair over her shoulder.

"And you would be, who to be telling me about my own sex life?" AJ grinned.

"Or lack there of," the girl started gaining a chuckle from Howie. He couldn't believe these two, totally buying into each other's egos. "And I'm supposed to be Jasmine. You know, Disney movie character?? Aladdin?? Well, you probably wouldn't, you know, getting laid all the time and all." She went on.

"You've got a point there." AJ pretended to think eliciting a groan from Jasmine.

"Gee, thanks. I'm so proud of myself." She muttered.

"Jasmine, if I will, just WHY did you start this lovely conversation with myself and my wonderful friend here?" AJ countered.

"Actually, I was only talking to you. He seems to be the perfect gentleman. As for the conversation, I overheard your views on females. You really don't get it do you?" She said snottily.

"Get what? The fact that a perfect stranger has come up to me and insulted my love life not once, but twice in the last three minuets?" AJ asked beginning to become annoyed. He was unbelievably attracted to this woman, but it seemed that he should have just closed his mouth the minuet hers opened. Now he was never going to have a chance with her.

"No, what's your name again?" She said interrupting herself.

"You never asked in the first place. Alexander, people call me AJ." He said proudly then pulled down on his hat so it covered his hair as he realized that he didn't exactly want people knowing that he was at Disney. If it was leaked to anyone the park would be filled up in half an hour or less and the group would be in over their heads without a bodyguard to speak of. He fidgeted as Howie elbowed him in the ribs. Apparently Howie was thinking the same thing.

"Sorry." He whispered to him shooting an apologetic glance to Howie. His nervousness grew greater as Jasmine eyed them both closely. Squinting she looked as if she was thinking.

"You were saying?" AJ interrupted her thought process.

"Oh yes. I was just thinking if all the men in the world were like you then the world is screwed. If you feel that your sex is superior to any other than you've got another thing coming! Sooner or later something's gonna kick you in the ass and you're going to wish you'd treated women a little more kindly then just using them for an easy lay. You're the kind of person that gives all men a bad name!" She spat out, evil tinting her eyes.

AJ's eyes narrowed as he looked at her. How dare she! As he began to open his mouth Howie grabbed a hold of his arm and yanked him in the other direction.

"Nice to meet you Jasmine! Maybe we'll see you later!" Howie called as he lead AJ away from the fuming woman.

"I would hope not!" Jasmine called to their retreating backs.

When they were far enough away AJ let loose.

"How dare she! Does she NOT know who I am?!" He raged on before Howie halted his words.

"No Bone, and that's a good thing! If we'd stayed there one moment longer she would have figured it out and then we'd have hell to pay from Kevin. You're lucky I saved your ass!" He said.

"But D! Did you HEAR the things she said? That I have only disrespect for women! She doesn't even know me! If she only knew-" AJ once again started.

"AJ, but she doesn't. You've got to admit, she DID hear some pretty foul things coming out of your mouth. What do you expect sometimes?" Howie asked.

"Ya ya." AJ mumbled dropping his head in disgust. "I guess I did kind of cross the line. But she doesn't even know me! Damn it Howie! Why do I always manage to screw things up?! She was beautiful! Did you see her! Those eyes! She was just, she was beautiful!" AJ sputtered out.

"You've said that." Howie laughed. "Next time AJ, next time. And just a little tip, you probably shouldn't go on and on about how you laid some girl this time." He said chuckling knowing that AJ was going to take the bait.

"She EAVESDROPPED D!! She was listening!! It wasn't my fault!" AJ once again exploded then chuckled to himself as he noticed Howie cracking up. So he'd taken the bait! Big deal.

"Ha ha funny funny. How about we go hit some rides." AJ attempted.

"And not girls?" Howie managed to get out.

"No! Come on now! Let's go!" AJ said and began to walk off.

"Fine! I'm coming!" Howie yelled and began to follow him.

* * *

I can't believe I almost got stuck with Mandy all day! Kevin grumbled to himself as he wandered around the park. He passed the tea cups not looking where he was going and walked right into someone.

"Excuse me! I'm sorry!" He hurriedly said as he helped the woman up. She was in costume as what appeared to him as Jasmine. He couldn't help thinking back on the days that he had portrayed Aladdin at the very same place.

"No, really it's ok. I should have been watching where I was going." She mumbled and looked up for the first time at him. Her eyes grew wide and she started to open her mouth before Kevin clasped his hand over it.

"Please, not here. I'll give you an autograph but please, don't make a big scene. The guys and I can't get caught here today, we've got no protection." He said panicked. The girl merely smiled back at him knowingly.

"You haven't the slightest clue as to who I am do you?" She laughed.

"Excuse me? I know you know who I am, why should I know who you are..." He trailed off as he studied her face and his jaw went slack as realization came over him.

"So, you know who I am now Mr. Big Shot?" She grinned as he pulled her in for a hug.

"My God! Katie! You still work here?? Wow!" Kevin rambled on and on and Katie pulled him away from the crowd of young girls who were starting to surround them. Katie decided they were trying to figure out if it really WAS Kevin.

"Kev, quick, follow me. You've got fans right behind you." She whispered and grabbed his hand pulling him behind her.v They wove in and out of people finally arriving at Cinderella's castle once again.

"Katie! Of all the places to take me, you bring me to the most congested?" Kevin whispered and was shushed by Katie.

"Just come with me!" She said leading him into the castle. When they finally stopped they were at the top of the castle. Kevin gazed over the whole park as Katie sat down.

"So, long time no see..." He said grinning. He and Katie had worked together as Aladdin and Jasmine when HE had worked at Disney many years ago. She was a good six and a half years younger than he but they clicked right from the start. When he'd broken into the business he and Katie had lost touch. It was quite strange that they once again had a reunion in the same place that they'd first met.

"Actually, it's a bit different for me. See, you haven't seen me, but I've seen you a few times in concert." She said laughing.

"Ahh, so you've been keeping tabs on me! I see how it is." Kevin joked pulling her into a big hug. "I can't believe how long it's been! We haven't really talked in what, six years?" He thought.

"Yep! Just for that I should hit you face boom boom." (Had to put it in K!! Had to!! It's too good of an inside joke NOT to put in! Just think, this way hundreds upon hundreds of people will sit here reading this and say to their selves: What the heck is she talking about? Hit you face boom boom?? That's not even proper English!! Ha!! Funny funny stuff goin on there!) Katie said softly punching him in the nose.

"You still remember that?! I've said it a few times to the guys and they've just looked at me like I'm crazy!" He laughed.

"Well, you know, you ARE a bit out there Kev." She laughed.

"So, what you been up to lil bit?" Kevin asked.

"God no. Please not that name! I've grown! Really I have! I'm not a good foot shorter than you! I think I've grown out of lil bit!" Katie said groaning.

"Well, last I heard you were going to finally start on your CD? That was six years ago though." Kevin went on.

"Oh, that. It kinda fell through. I'm still trying. I've made quite a few singles myself, but working here doesn't exactly give me enough money to produce a whole CD on my budget." She stated.

"I'll have to listen to them! Maybe we can help ya out and all. I mean, I've GOT to be good for something!" He smiled.

"You're right! To think that all these years I've been a good friend of one of the biggest groups, and I have yet to cash in on it! What's wrong with me?!" Katie joked looking up at the clock that hung on the wall.

"You've got to go?" Kevin predicted.

"Ya, if my boss catches me slacking off it's my neck. I can't afford to loose this job."

"Ya, I know what you mean." Kev said. When Katie gave him the look he laughed. "Ok, well I don't really know what you mean right NOW, but I used to, so I can imagine." He laughed.

"So, you going to meet me for lunch?" Katie asked expectantly. "We've got a lot to talk about!"

"Well, how about you meet me for lunch? The guys and I are all here. I think the plan is that we're going to go to lunch and then hit the radio station. Whadaya say?" He said with puppy dog eyes.

"How could I resist. No sane girl would refuse a luncheon with the Backstreet Boys. Even if they are smelly." She laughed and ran off ahead of Kevin down the stairs to the exit.

"You haven't changed at all Katie!" He yelled ahead of himself.

If only you knew Kev. Katie thought to herself. Seeing him again reminded her of all the things she'd given up for a life she really didn't have planned. Feeling two strong arms wrap around her and throw her over his shoulder make her squeal with laughter. It was really nice having Kevin back. Maybe things would somewhat return to normal now.

"It's nice seeing you again lil bit." Kevin said as he put her down.

"Ya, you to Kev. Listen, I've really got to go. Where do you want me to meet you guys?" She said anxiously looking at the clock.

"We're meeting here at noon." Kevin said.

"Ok, I'll be here. Oh, and Kev, loose the hat. If they're gonna know it's you, they're gonna know it's you! Bye babes." She said giving him a quick peck on the cheek and racing out of the castle.

"Bye lil bit!" He yelled to her. In return he heard a laugh as she ran off to her job.

* * *

"I think I'm going to sit this one out here guys..." Nick said as he sat down on a nearby bench. Brian and Kaylie looked over at him and chuckled slightly.

"A little green are we there Carter?" Kaylie joked at his greenish complexion.

"Poor widdle Nicky. You want Bri Bri to make you feel better?" Brian rushed over to him and gave him a big hug. "My poor Frack, all sick and all." He laughed as Nick clutched his stomach.

"Guess that last time on the teacups really outdid ya!" Kaylie smiled. Nick nodded slowly in response.

"You guys go, I don't want you just waiting with me till I feel like I'm not going to meet my breakfast again." Nick said nervously.

"As if we would stay with you!" Kaylie laughed. When Brian glared at her she shrunk back. "Sorry. I just meant that we knew that you wouldn't want us to stay here with you." She said putting up her hands in mock defense.

"We're going to go. Just think Nick, when we come back, we'll all go to lunch. You can get a big corn dog, some cotton candy--" Brian started laughing at Nick's expression.

"Ya! Cotton candy! I just love the sweet candy. It's so good, we'll eat tons, huh Nick!" Kaylie said as she and Brian watched Nick run off towards the nearest bathroom.

"He'll be back." Brian said as they began walking.

"Ya, and he'll probably WANT some cotton candy." Kaylie said dryly. Brian swatted at her butt and ran off laughing. Kaylie chased after.

"Brian Lit--" she started before Brian turned around in horror as a few girl's excitedly looked around in search of the Backstreet Boy. "Is nowhere to be seen!" She finished as she watched the girls turn around dejectedly. Brian stopped and waited for Kaylie to reach him.

"I can't believe you did that!" He said in a hushed tone, his eyes still trained on the girls.

"Worried are we?" Kaylie laughed. Brian bobbed his head up and down in return.

"Well, you know, you should never touch a lady's butt without her permission!" She laughed. "There are always consequences and repercussions for such behaviors!" She stated.

"You don't really mind do ya?" Brian asked expectantly.

"Naw. You've known me forever. Bri, we used to bathe together. I highly doubt you're getting any pleasure out of touching my ass!" Kaylie said. But Lord knows I don't mind! She thought to herself.

So she doesn't mind...maybe I should do it more often. I mean, she practically said it was ok! Brian thought and smiled to himself.

If only he knew how I really felt about him. Kaylie thought as they walked along searching for the next perfect ride.Brian reached over and grabbed her hand swinging it between the two. Kaylie smiled in response and squeezed it in return. If only she really knew how I felt about her. Brian thought as his emotions rose as he held on tightly to her hand and drew her close for a quick hug.

Nick stood behind the two, just returning from his bathroom visit. He watched as Brian and Kaylie seemed to get cozy (I LOVE that word!! Ha! Cozy!!) with one another. His heart wrenched at the sight. If only she knew how I really felt about her. He thought then turned around and started the lonely walk back to Cinderella's Castle.
