We have learned that an advertisement of Philips has been placed in the Internet on the web site of the Med TV, known as the television of the terrorist PKK.

We strongly protest such an approach by the Philips firm, which has a large consumer mass in Turkey, on behalf of all the mothers feeling the pain of terrorism in their hearts.

The Medya TV, which does not obey the rule of neutrality in its programs, broadcasts news and comments only in the direction of the terrorist PKK's views.

Directors of the Medya TV, exploiting concepts such as democracy, freedom of press and human rights, have never given up being a propaganda tool of the PKK and broadcasting programs that encouraged the murder of thousands of innocent people.

We would like to stress that there is no difference between giving an advertisement to the television of the terrorist PKK and providing monetary aid to the terrorist organization.

We deem the approach of the Philips firm as a support to terrorism and want to reiterate once again that those who support terrorism are at least as guilty as terrorists.

We believe that the Philips firm will take into account the sensitivity of the Turkish public opinion about terrorism and take the necessary steps, and we consider this as an obligation of humanity before the moral presence of thousands of innocent people who had lost their lives in terrorist acts.
