#77  Unknown 'Maker  13 D  Full-Quill Ostrich   These have some wear, but are definitely "good to go"--in fine enough shape for dress-up.  I cannot source the maker of these boots, but they do not look like Mexican product.  In styling and quality they are very close to older Lama or Justin product.  The vamps are medium "maple" brown once-piece ostrich.  One piece ostrich in the counters, as well.  Fairly narrow, "D" toe.  The heels are solid, 2¼" high, very slightly undershot.  The shafts are 13" high with fancy "burst" stitch pattern in 6 rows in orange & cream.  Leather lining in fine shape with no stains or tears.  The rubber heel caps have a good 95% wear left on 'em.  And the leather soles will go many miles yet.  Condition of the skins is excellent:  No dings, scratches or cuts on vamps or on counters.  (These came from the estate of a Tucson old-timer who owned many pairs of upper-end custom boots.)  $115

#83  Osuna Hand-Made  Khaki Calfskin  10 D   I took a real shine to this skin--and I've ordered up two pair out of this skin, in two different styles, for my own rack.  A true khaki color is not real common among boot leathers--and this one has eye-catching depth and sheen.  This traditional U.S. Army color has a real draw for veterans & other fellas who like a boot with a very sober, serious attitude.  Anyhow, gettin' to the basics of this particular boot:  It has a very sharp squared-off 4A toe.  (Note this boot has a double sole, which gives it extra weight and heft.)  The heels are 3" high, very undershot, with medium spur ridge.  And altho' it's a high heel, it's perfectly in proportion to the rest of the boot.  The shafts stand 15½" high with, with 6 rows stitching in white, black, cream and turquoise.  (And the turquoise thread really "pops" out on the shafts--an excellent color choice by Steve Osuna.)  Pegged soles.  Fine leather lining.  Brand new in the box, never worn.  $440
