#100  Paul Bond  13 D  (Above)   An original, one of a kind Bond design which Spider created when he was manager of operations.  Apart from bein' a darned handsome boot, the stand-out feature of this boot is the thick, knobby bullhide which is very close to shark in its toughness.  The unique design of this boot is the "toe cap" effect which Spider designed for this boot:  The vamp/instep has an overlay of double leather (similar the trademark instep double-layer styling of Olathe).  4 rows of stitching define the toe cap, which polishes brighter than the rest of the vamp.  The style of the toe is "D".  The shafts are sturdy bullhide, very thick, no chance they'll ever "flop over".  They have 6 rows stitching in red, yellow & rust.  The heels are 2½" high, very undershot, with small spur ridge.  As for the rest:  these boots, dated 2007, have all the hallmarks of Bond quality:  Good lines, pegged soles, leather lining.  This is a heavy, very substantial boot.  It is mint, brand new in the box..  $680
