Mere words would never begin to describe how much I loved you as a brother, as a musician, as a friend, as a mentor, and as a person who loved life !!!! You are on "the" journey now, and God speed!!! You will always be with me!!!!

What a shock to hear the news! I moved to Texas in Jan 1998 and never had a chance to see Burger live. I lived near Little Rock and always heard about his shows. I didn't know he was the Gypsy Woman and being a Gemini myself, I never missed reading my horoscope. It was great! Fly away Burger, we'll see ya in the next world.

I thought I could sing until I listened to Burger. After that, I had to learn how all over again. Then I watched him every chance I got, for more lessons. The dude had all the chops. And always grinnin' like there was nothin' to it.
