This page is 2 years old and is getting a heck of a lot better than I expected! I have a page of Babylon 5 and as you might tell I'm a bit of a science fiction freak (hold back the groans please!) However I'm not completley one tracked in entertainment cases, I also like the New Zealand comic strip 'Footrot Flats'. Its based on a farm and the slightly less than modest star, hero and often coward of this farm is a Dog called 'The dog'. The Aunt of The dogs owner gave him a name but the dog attacks her everytime she trys to say it (yes he is a bit touchy about it).
The dogs owner,Wal has a girlfriend called Cheeky Hobson who is always disliked by the dog on his belief that shes trying to brainwash Wal.Wal also plays rugby and cricket and is hopeless at both of them.
Occasionly Cheeky watches Wal play rugby but stopped going after Wal hit The dog who was attacking Wal so he would not score a try and appear a hero in Cheeky's eyes. However Cheeky whacked Wal after being apalled at Wal's treatment of The dog.Theres plenty of other characters on this comic strip and I'll mention them all on a Footrot Flats page if I ever do one.
I also like reading Garfield by Jim Davis. The 3 main stars in this are Jon, Garfield and Odie. Garfield is a lazy, fat tabby cat who often catches birds(rarely),makes friends with the mice, kicks Odie off tables and hits Jon if his food is 3 seconds late.
Jon, Garfields owner (however Garfield actually owns Jon) is a weak pathetic person, especially in romance cases. Jons main pick up line is "Excuse me, I have healthy gums!". I think you can figure out the rest of his "personality" by now. Odie is Jon's other pet, a dog with little brain who constantly stands at edges of tables ready to be kicked off. Rarely he does manange to outsmart Garfield. Lookout for my Garfield page later this year.
My sister has a webpage, so check it out!
Down there are some links to the official Trek and B5 sites which has stuff like movies, episode guides, pics, chat rooms etc.
GENERAL UPDATE AS OF FEBRUARY 2007 |
This website now serves as a time capsule for my 15 year old self. I doubt any major alterations will be done in order to preserve this. After 7 years, my interests lie elsewhere, though no less geeky I will admit. Please look around, almost everything still works. The Babylon 5 page managed to amass a large amount of hits I was surprised to see.
Seven years, not bad for a website, even a small one like this. May it continue....
DECEMBER 2003 UPDATE
Well, a few things have been tweaked here and there, on the B5 and Star Trek Pages, see those pages news sections for specifics. Plans are underway for a re-modelling of the Star Trek section. I'll get ads out there about it, get some webrings joined to advertise it a bit. Instead of having a section for each species ships and etc, i think i'll just a have a section of general info on each species. More variety is more interesting, instead of a monotonous ship list.
APRIL 2003 UPDATE This site has been untouched for a while now, but it is still more or less fully functional. My Babylon 5 page is still running ok, and still attracting visitors from the webrings. I have been working on my other site a bit, and will merge that one and this one sometime. My e-mail address has changed and is not the one at the bottom of most pages, I will fix that ASAP. My current e-mail address is trevorrex729@hotmail.com |
