Tuxedo Mask and Sailor Earth:
First of all, DARIEN IS NOT SAILOR EARTH! He is the Earth Prince, ONLY! So it makes sense for the Earth Prince to be in love with the Earth Princess, right? Exactly. After Sailor Earth/Universe a.k.a Rori was kiddnapped by the Negaverse when she was little, she and Darien formed a friendship [note: this was all before serena was born] They remained close until she was 14, when she was summoned back to the Negaverse by Queen Beryl. Darien and Rori were sitting together in the park when Queen Beryl came back to get Rori, Darien was knocked unconsious and lay in a coma for several months afterwards. He didn't recall anything about Rori when he woke up.
Throughout the whole manga books/anime, you see a browned headed girl peeking out at Darien, Serena and the other Senshi. When Sailor Earth makes her peek, she is a sassy 16 year old in college with Darien. She and Darien are in the same class and have a close friendship. One day while she and Darien are studying at a local library afterhours, an enemy appears and attacks Darien. Rori is forced to to transform in front of him and destroy the enemy. Darien was wounded, but Rori healed up with her crystal. She then found out that he was Tuxedo Mask, and both of their forgotton memories of the Sliver Milluneum flooded back to them, they were immedantly attracted terribly to each other. Rori helped Darien outside to find Serena and Rini walking towards them. Both were immedantly suspisous and surprised to see Darien close to another girl. Serena immedantly barged in and started asking questions. Darien didn't take his eyes off Rori, and fainted. When he woke up, Rori was sitting beside him smiled in his apartment [serena was there but he didn't notice, much to her vexation].
Rori and Darien met again in class the following school day. They went to the park and talked, all the while being watched by the Sailor Senshi, for Serena was very suspicous. Much to all the Senshi's surprise, Rori and Darien got up and kissed for a long time. [I guess when you haven't seen your true love for 1000 years you get sorta happy, huh?] Through the both still cared for each other more than imagnable, they knew they couldn't be together. They both decieded it was best for everyone if they just stay friends. Though you can see facial and emotional expressions of pain when they are in the same room. It is heartbreaking but also uplifting to know that our favorite couple is still together... for now. =x
