| There are lots of things that I find remarkable about you Like how on earth you manage to be such an honest and open person To tell you the truth, openness has never been one of my stronger points That was still until I started getting to know you better And found that you were someone with whom I could talk And so I started to open up my heart to you And let you in on the things that I am involved in And others too that I may be thinking of doing And I must say that what I'm learning from you Is definitely making me a better person And the hopeful thought and feeling I have That you're the one person on whom I can count on for sure Fills my heart with joy and gladness And day by day and night by night My heart and mind open up more towards you There are lots of things I find remarkable about you Like what an understanding and loving person you are I'm sometimes just astounded With your understanding and acceptance of setbacks in life And this is what makes you so approachable Coz you won't nag or fuss But instead say something cheery and uplifting Of course we all have our moments And there are times you may feel a little off But you are always so sweet and understanding That its hard to be anything but fair to you There are lots of things I find remarkable about you Like the spice you have for life Always strong even when handling crisis And keeping that smile on as you carry out your daily tasks Knowing when to laugh Knowing when to be homely Knowing how to stir up emotions in me Knowing how and when to behave in a certain way Showing me the lighter side of life And finding the time to create humour Even when handling or talking serious issues Bringing joy and laughter to those around you That it's no wonder you're missed whenever you're away from home There are lots of things I find remarkable about you Like what a great help you are to me Being there for me when I need you Motivating and encouraging me through trying times Supporting me in my daily endeavours Having confidence in my sometimes wacky ideas And always ready and willing to lend a hand There are lots of things I find remarkable about you Like the fact that you've managed to capture my heart and mind Coz I feel so good whenever I'm with you Talking and listening and having fun with you Marveling at your desire and drive to get ahead Astounded by the ease with which you get along well with others And so touched by your dedication and loving attitude towards me and others! |
