Frannie remembers what happened the day Douglas Cummings was murdered. The charges against Kim are dropped. After everyone else has left the courtroom, Margo prepares to tell Tom about the baby.

June 3

The Hughes celebrate the end of Kim's trial. Margo tells Craig that she's pregnant. Tom finds a half-dressed Hal in Margo's suite on the yacht the next morning and misinterprets the situation. He runs off.

Tom agrees not to fight the divorce, but Lisa advises him to try romancing his wife to win her back. Margo accepts Hal's invitation to dinner, but is touched by Tom's flowers.

Margo goes out to the Mona Lisa with Hal, but accepts Tom's invitation to an anniversary dinner the next day.

Margo gets a new partner, rookie cop Nick Castello. Tom makes preparations for the anniversary dinner while helping Brian and Shannon with her divorce from Duncan. Tom drops by the yacht to pick up Margo. He is wearing a tux, but her hair is still in curlers.

Tom and Margo put aside their hostilities to celebrate their anniversary on the very spot in the park where they exchanged vows three years earlier. Tom has made all of the arrangements with a catered dinner from one of Lisa's restaurants (Diana's) and a hot fudge sundae, no nuts, three cherries (Margo's favorite) for dessert. Margo is deeply touched and almost tells Tom about the baby.

Tom and Margo interact at the cop shop. He brings her a bag of Chinese food for dinner, but she's too busy to eat it then. Hal's there for Margo, too.

Tom deals with Shannon's threat to tell everyone about Barbara's affair with Tom, while at the station, Margo talks about her situation with Hal. He gives her his address, but she goes to see Tom, with the bag of Chinese takeout in her arms. When she sees Barbara with him, she runs out--and straight to Hal's apartment.

Tom worries about Margo. She almost has an affair with Hal, but he thinks better of it.

June 19

Tom conftonts Margo about Hal after he hears her talking in her sleep. Later, he finds her passed out in Lyla's living room.

June 20

Tom, Lyla, John, and Craig all worry about Margo after she faints, but she insists that nothing is wrong. She decides it's time to tell Tom about the pregnancy.

Constantly interrupted, Margo chickens out and doesn't tell Tom about the baby.

Shannon gets through to Margo when she tells her friend how Tom stood up for her and asks if Margo really wants to let Barbara win by divorcing Tom. Hal realizes nothing is going to happen with Margo. Tom gets gumballs and a note from Margo.

Over Chinese food, Margo agrees to give Tom and their marriage a second chance. Hal volunteers to take Margo's assignment so she can be with Tom. In Margo's unmarked police car, Hal and Nick find a body with another warning for Margo to back off the case she is working on. Later, the car explodes with Hal and Nick in it.

June 30

Margo finally tells a thrilled Tom about the baby. Together, they tell Lyla, Craig, Frannie, Brian, and Shannon about their reunion (but not the baby). Margo gets a call about Hal and rushes to the hospital. There she hears about the threats made against her and realizes that the bomb was meant for her.
