Margo finds out about Katie's "death threat" and plans to investigate, despite Katie's protests. Margo questions Henry and almost trips him up. Jennifer confides in Adam about meeting Abigail in New York. Adam advises Jennifer to tell Barbara.

March 3

Margo goes to WOAK to give security advice since Katie has "a stalker." Katie freezes in horror when she sees the death threat. Katie tries to keep her cool in front of Holden and Margo, but Henry makes sure the threat is revealed to them. Margo and Holden are horrified, and Katie demands to know what Henry is doing now. Henry tells her that he's trying to boost the ratings.

Katie tells Margo that she has decided to move out. Margo deduces Katie has met someone she's interested in romantically. Holden picks Katie up for work. Margo gets a call that the latest "threat" against Katie has no fingerprints on it.

Margo arrives at Lucinda's to greet her nephew, only to discover Bryant has taken off. Katie tells Tom and Margo she has decided to move out since the stalker incident is over. She assures them that she can take care of herself.

Chris is booked as Katie's stalker, and she genuinely believes he is guilty. Tom is glad Chris kept this from the police, since it would give them a motive. Hal returns with more damning evidence against Chris, and Katie concludes that Henry is railroading Chris.

Chris faces his arraignment. The Hughes gather to support him, with the exception of Margo, who stands behind her sister. She takes the stand to argue that Chris should not be allowed out of jail. The courtroom is tense as Chris' bail is denied.

At Al's Diner, Abigail confronts Katie and Margo, warning them that Chris is not the stalker.
