January 3 |
Tom finds Margo outside her cell. They both realize that Georgia is the killer and hurry off to find her. John tells Lucinda he has bad news about Georgia. Lucinda blames herself for Georgia's predicament, and John tries to make her feel better. Jack gets a call informing him that Margo escaped from jail. Although he finds her, he lets her stay free to pursue Georgia.. Margo figures out that Georgia might have gone to Alec's cabin. Georgia writes a suicide note to Eddie, and a confession to the police department. Eddie finds Georgia and says they have to get out of there. Georgia admits to Eddie that she killed Alec. Eddie can't handle the news, but she insists on telling him the whole story. When she's finished, Georgia reaches for the pills, but Eddie stops her and demands that she leave with him now. Georgia agrees, but when they open the door they find Tom and Margo. |

January 4 |
Tom and Margo demand that Georgia tell them the whole story of the night that Alec was murdered. Georgia reveals she confronted Alec about his plans to leave with Eddie, and she spotted Margo unconscious. Georgia was about to call the police, when Alec pulled a gun on her. Georgia confesses that Alec was shot accidentally as the two of them struggled for the gun. In the aftermath, a panicked Georgia covered her tracks. Margo now remembers seeing Georgia flee the scene. Georgia asks Eddie if there is any hope for them, but he turns away from her. Margo and Tom leave to share their happiness with the boys while Georgia prepares to face the music alone. |

January 5 |
At the police station, Georgia confesses to Alec's murder. Eddie can't look at her. He confesses to Margo that he's uncertain about his future with Georgia. Georgia asks Tom to represent her. He is reluctant, but Margo convinces Tom to do it. Tom has Margo's conviction overturned and she is free to go. Georgia has to stay in police custody until an arraignment and is lead off to a cell. Margo returns home and shares a warm moment with her sons, as Katie watches from a distance, not wanting to interrupt. |

Margo urges Eddie not to allow Georgia to face prison believing he hates her. Margo reminds Eddie it was Alec's actions that caused his death. Eddie finally admits he still loves Georgia. Everyone is relieved when Tom and Jessica arrive with the news that Georgia will not be prosecuted. Eddie is about to slip out, but Margo stops him, urging him to face Georgia. |

January 12 |
Adam admits to Tom that he can't forgive Georgia for letting Margo go on trial, but Tom urges his son to put it behind him. Abigail and Jen decide Abigail needs a "beard"--someone to pretend to be seeing Abigail--so she can continue to see Chris. They ask Adam, who reluctantly agrees for Chris' sake. |

January 13 |
Eddie and Georgia arrive at Margo's, where the family is celebrating her homecoming, to say good-bye. Margo insists on making a real wedding for Eddie and Georgia--today. Margo, Lucinda and Lisa get busy planning the event. Eddie asks Margo to be his best man and Georgia and Eddie are happily married. Jennifer recruits Adam as Abigail's cover for a secret rendezvous with Chris at the Java Underground and they leave. Inspired by the wedding, Tom asks Margo to renew their vows, and she agrees. |

January 14 |
Abigail arrives at the Java Underground, pretending that Adam is her "date." Jennifer tells Molly that Abigail is with Adam. Abigail lies to Molly and confirms this, claiming she is over Chris. Margo and Tom renew their vows in a ceremony performed by Reverend Dansbury. As they kiss, a stunned Emily enters. Emily makes a toast to the couple, saying how she wasted her time pining over a weak-willed Tom, who deserves a louse like Margo. Margo shoots back that Tom is too good for her. The women get into a scuffle, and Margo shoves Emily into the wedding cake. Tom and Margo return home and make it official that Tom is moving back in. They head upstairs to make love. |

Tom and Margo's reunion is interrupted by an angry John. He asks them for their help in looking out for Andy's best interests in regards to Hope. Tom and Margo are hesitant to get involved until they find out what Andy wants, but Jake insists fathers should never be separated from their children. |

Lisa fires Emily, who has come to quit anyway. Emily vows that Daniel will one day know what Tom and Lisa did to her. |

January 20 |
John asks Tom about his grandparental rights if Andy signs away his parental rights of Hope. Tom admits that John has rights, and could even adopt Hope if both parents were declared unfit. Lisa warns John not to go too far. |

Margo and Adam attend Hal's homecoming. Hal apologizes to Margo for his actions during the murder investigation and offers her job back. She readily agrees. |

Andy turns to Margo for help in finding Denise, but asks her to keep it quiet so as not to alert John. Andy fears for Hope's safety when Margo discovers that Denise is not with Ben in San Diego. Tom points out that Denise's running away has put Andy in a position to call the shots regarding custody. |
