- of course you people have been to Doi-sensei's page in numerous occasions right? an invaluable resource.
Pilot - Didn't know it existed till Umi-chan pointed it to me.
^^;; it's a darned good page (now why can't i make a nifty layout like that?)
Mount Maaya - Just recently
came to my attention. The guy has excellent layout, and what's more, there's a forum
open. Check it out.
Crystal Voice Museum - heh, the first other english
fanpage that i found. done by a japanese too, pretty impressive.

Sakura station - Hinoto's page, has a small Maaya discography and roles section. She's been invaluable in providing me a lot of vids for the CMs as well as the rare ccd ed2 vid.
Official Japanese Sites
I.D.
- maa-chan's official page (in japanese of course). you can find news, events, a discography of
her works under the victor label (incl. RealG2 audio clips), some pics taken by yoko kanno (boy, they must be great friends),
and a few journal entries to take a peek into the life of the lady behind the voice.
L'ambition HP
- l'ambition/group komadori's official homepage. the most notable under thier employement are hiroko kasahara (also a favorite of mine)
and maaya-chan. has a maaya section listing official events, essay's, release dates and others.
Tokyo Visual Arts HP - Official homepage for the maaya sakamoto concert
event Precious2Piece, that was held on 6/25/2000.
Tanabota Homepage - Official information page for the Tanabota live concerts.
Newtype August Article - Maaya is featured in Newtype's Bomb!Bomb! Voice Plus Section, the link won't be alive forever so try to get to it while you can (or buy the Aug 2000 issue)
Newtype Special Web Article - Temporary link only. Contains an interview with Maaya concerning her new album 'Lucy'
TanaBota Live1 Event page - this page was kinda hard to get to, but it has a song list of what was featured on the TanaBota Live1 concert that was a huge success. Also has a collage of interesting pics taken from the concert.
Sega Napple tale HP - contains some small profile information. has 2 voice clips of her promoting the game near the end.
Napple tale Official HP - well, similar to the contents of the Sega page but more aesthetically pleasing :)
Japanese Fan sites
Pygmy Station - one of the best
japanese fansites. updated regularly, useful if you know japanese (if not then you'll have to bear with what little i can translate :P)
Sweet 'n' Sour
- very nice layout and constantly updated, rivals Pygmystation in content :)
Cafe de Ma-aya
- another beautifully done site. awsome fanart on the start page :)
Ma-aya Mode
- great layout, plenty of content.
Clover Garden
- has the best compiled info on maaya songs out there.
oh he has a pretty great Oricon top 100 section too, which tracks how far up maaya's singles/albums go, and how long they stay there.
Semil's Maaya Sakamoto page
- this one is very good. some of the info is so obsucre that it's the
first time i've ever heard of it :)
Maaya Sakamoto Music File
- has a unique section called SongList+GuitarCodeLab, i guess you should be able to guess what that means. very cool but i don't know how
to play the guitar :)
Pt
- another site with awsome layout. has a cmero section, a program he used to compose several maaya songs.
The Vision of Maaya - Dang, the names taken, i
was considering that for my own page. ^^;; the most notable thing is that this is the oldest maaya site on the web (since 96)
anyway, this site's got primarily event news (not too useful for me since i don't live in
japan). it's got a great links section though.
Sakamoto Maaya Pocket Data
- another well organized site which inculdes only the most relevant info
Active Heart
- another information haven. but if differs from the others bec it has a (strangely enough) 'hitomi chat' in which you chat with hitomi and she responds to you (supposedly), anyway, haven't tried it out and wouldn't know if i could o_O
Kanno, Arai, Sakamoto
- as the title implies, it's a website dedicated to yoko kanno and her proteges
CBS Document -maaya section
- has an in depth comment on every (victor) released maaya song.
Sakamoto Maaya Information List
- hasn't been updated in a while, but it's got tons of archived info.
M.S.S.T.R
- has a small section dedicated to maaya. has more info on maaya-chan's likes and dislikes than most ^_^
Promenade
- an ok site. has a surpising way on naming his sections though, calling it after titles of songs maaya-chan has sung. ex. hashiru (run) goes to her events list, and bokura no rekishi (my history) goes to her discography. neat :)
Maaya na beya
- i thought the fanart was a little wierd but all in all, pretty good info wise. has a good list of articles where maaya was featured.

-records the scripts of the escaflowne movie radio drama 'escaflowne eyes'
Attractive to Ma-aya Sakamoto
- has the scripts to the radio show Animetopia R starring Maaya and Chieko.
Maaya song poll
- as the title implies, it's a poll on the most popular song from the hotchpotch album. so far 'hikari no nakae' leads.
Tominoko-zoku website -maaya section
- heh, not really anything info-wise, but has an interesting clock he constucted himself with a picture of maaya-chan on the background
Other foriegn sites
Maaya's Room - Hmm, pretty good spanish page. Has a large image gallery.
*Maaya's World* - Well this is an excellent page if I ever saw one. Chock full of stuff, most notable of which is the extensive image gallery. (read on only if you're prepared for a very biased view from a pissed webmaster)
Problem is, it's in French... and most of the stuff is stolen :\ BUT, I do give credit where credit is due. Even though I do have a beef with the webmaster for stealing my video links (and others' as well), as well as displaying images of items she doesn't own (mostly stolen from yahoo japan images
coz i recognize them, not to mention i was the one who bought that signed mizuiro jidai cel in her gallery) there is NO doubt that she has worked hard to find all this stuff, no doubt plodding through several webpages in languages which aren't her own (as evidenced by her very multinational links page).
So in the end, I still applaud her being able to find all this stuff (since half of them i've never seen before so i quite enjoyed) but boo for her unethical ways of doing it. btw, you can only properly view it in IE for some reason.
Mailing Lists
Maaya Sakamoto Mailing list (jp)
- the japanese Maaya ML. haven't joined, but from what i can tell the moderator seems ultra strict and wouldn't let a gaijin like me in...
Maaya Sakamoto Mailing list (sp) - some spanish mailing list in egroups (now yahoo groups). i got a spanish speaking friend to go there and he says that there isn't much volume and the info i worthless so...
Maaya Sakamoto Mailing list (en) - well there's a yahoo group that exists... but i've subscribed, only to find that there are 3 members (which includes me) and so far no history of ever being used. I'm discouraged to send anything to 2 other members that I don't even know, but hopefully any of you
fans out there that see this could think about populating it. then maybe it could be put to better use.
