Ukyou is a very very good cook, her father opened a restruant in China. Ten years ago, Ranma and Ukyou are really good friends. Genma, stole Ukyou's dowery.. the okonomiyaki Yattai (cart). Genma was soon caught for his thiefery, and since he has no money to pay, Ukyou's dad ask if Ranma will help him run the restraunt and marry Ukyou in return. Genma being a such *nice* father, asked Ranma which he like best, the okonomiyaki or Ukyo better, and Ranma says okonomiyaki, so the two father and son ran away. Ten years later, Ukyo found Ranma and still wants him to be her fiancee ( what is so special about Ranma anyways? ).
