Senat Faculty
The Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science is an agency invested with the highest
representation in the faculty. It possesses the right to simplify university policies and
regulations in the interests of the faculty.

Department
As an academic unit, the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science has two departments:
    1). Aquatic Resources Management
    2). Fisheries Product Processing Technology

Laboratory
To support the education in each department through teaching and reseach,
the laboratories provided are:
    1). Aquatic Resources Management:
            - Hidrobioecology and Fisheries Biometrics
            - Fisheries Business and Economics
            - Aquaculture
            - Marine Sciences
    2). Fisheries Product Processing Technology:
            - Processing Technology and Fisheries Product Quality Control
            - Fishing Technology

Study Program
The academic "program study" is a concise plan of teaching and learning which aims to help
undergraduate students understand the fisheries and marine sciences and increase their skills
in association with curriculum.  For this, the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Sam
Ratulangi University, offers several study programs associated with each department:
    1). Aquatic Resources Management:
           - Aquatic Resources Management : Aquatic Resources Biology and Aquatic Resources
                                                                 Economy
           - Aquaculture
           - Marine Sciences
    2). Fisheries Product Processing Technology:
           - Fisheries Product Processing Technology
           - Aquatic Resources Explotation
Since 1994/1995 Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences offered a master program (S2) in
Fisheries and Marine Sciences under graduate school of Sam Ratulangi University.  There
are 4 subprograms ie. marine biology, marine resources exploitation, marine product technology,
and marine resources economics.

Teaching  Staff
Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences has 174 lectures and assistants with various academic
qualifications :
