On her way to school, Hotaru was having high hopes. Students would be visiting from a different school today. Something about a shared creative arts class. She might even make friends with one of them. Nothing could hold her down.

Actually, some things were bothering her. One was the fact that though she was 14 and a half, she didn't look a day older than eleven and almost all the school was afraid of her because she could heal people. Mugen Galruen High School, the place of her torment

'Oh well, so much for that' she thought

The Dark Senshi, the Senshi of Silence, the Dark Messiah. All of these names seemed to fit her. Yet, besides the fact that she sometimes cried after school, she never felt like she fit them.

Enough of that, school would start soon, and she had to get to class.

At lunch, she heard an interesting conversation.

"Did you hear, Sensi Haruna collapsed in class today"

"Really, I heard she had s letter on that new radio show, Love Line"

"Ohh, I love that show. I stayed up all last night listening to it"

"Well, Naru , are you going to write in to it"

"Yes, I would love to have a letter read on that show"

'Naru, wasn't that the girl attacked at the jewelry store?' thought Hotaru to herself as she re-entered the school. She would have to talk to Luna about that.

"Hotaru-chan what are you doing?" asked Luna

"I heard some girls gossiping about a radio show today. I want to hear what it is about" said Hotaru as she fiddled with the dials on her stereo. She was never that good with knobs and buttons Soon, a man's voice could be heard coming from the speakers.

"It's the midnight hour, and now time for love line. We always want to help the love lorn. If we read your letter on the air, we'll send you a romantic prize. Our first letter is from Naru Osaka."

"Naru is the girl we saved at the jewelry store, right Hotaru?" asked Luna Hotaru nodded to Luna as the letter was read.

"That doesn't seem very interesting" said Hotaru as she switched off the radio.

"Too many shows like that already" she said as she climbed into bed. Besides she needed her rest. Hotaru turned off the lights and went to sleep as Luna curled up next to her.

The next day at school, everyone was in an uproar as two students passed out in class. Well, actually the uproar was over only one student The girls were Naru and her flighty friend, Usagi.

'Hmm, the teacher yesterday collapsed after having her letter read on the radio show. Now this girl had here's, and she collapses too. How strange' thought Hotaru

Hotaru went through the rest of the day, but couldn't keep her mind from wandering back to the girls and the teacher. Something was up...

"Luna, I have noticed that two people at my school have collapsed" said Hotaru

"Oh, what else Hotaru?"

"Both had letters read on that new radio show"

"Hmmm..."

"I suppose Sailor Saturn will have to pay the station a visit" said Hotaru thoughtfully

"It's too risky. It could turn out that it was nothing but a coincidence" said Luna

"Wait, I have an idea..." Luna said as she flipped in the air. Another wand fell on to Hotaru's bed.

"What is this?" asked Hotaru

"Well, it is your disguise pen. When you want to change your appearance, you say disguise power. The pen will change your appearance in any way you want"

"It sounds very useful" said Hotaru "Let's go"

"Hotaru, now you should use your disguise pen" said Luna Hotaru nodded as she pulled the pen out of her pocket.

"Disguise Power...Transform me into a professional business woman"

Hotaru was bathed in a white light, and in her place stood a woman about 1 foot taller, wearing a purple knee length skirt, matching blazer and whit blouse. Hotaru the business woman made her way inside the radio station.

Once inside, it could be seen that all employees had had their energy sapped from them. Their bodies were literally scattered across the floor.

"It looks like the Dark Kingdom is around, you had best prepare to transform" said Luna.

Hotaru nodded as she entered the room, being careful not to step on anyone. She saw that a man was broadcasting in a room, and a woman was standing guard. Knowing exactly what to do, Hotaru sped past the woman and entered the room with the man.

"Well, that about wraps up today's show..."

"Attention every one" interrupted Hotaru as she spoke into the microphone. The man looked towards her, a surprised look on his face. "This show has been operating illegally, no records of air time have been filed, and the flowers contain a substance that will drain you of energy. Do not listen to this show any more" Hotaru wasn't sure about the air time thing, but it sounded good

"Nooo" shouted the man "You can't do that. Now you'll pay" he said as his lackey transformed into a youma. Seeing this as her chance, Hotaru transformed.

"SATURN POWER...MAKE UP" she was surrounded by the familiar light, and in the business woman's place stood Sailor Saturn

"I am the Dark Senshi, Sailor Saturn. You have harmed innocent people, in the name of Saturn, I will punish you."

The man laughed "This is what will stop me. .You can't be any more than ten years old. As not to be informal, I'm Jadeite" he turned to his youma "attack her"

The creature launched its self at Saturn.

Saturn's Glaive appeared in her hands.

"Silence Glaive...SLASH" she shouted, the youma disintegrated. Jadeite laughed.

"Very impressive Sailor Saturn" he said as he hurled an energy blast at Saturn Saturn was knocked back about twenty feet. Sadly for her, being a Sailor Senshi did not make her immune to attacks. Her naturally weakened state did not help her any. Jadeite laughed triumphantly. She would be destroyed before she could pose any further threats, but she was powerful. Perhaps she could be made to serve the Dark Kingdom.

Saturn could not get up, she was weakened greatly, and now that man would surely kill her. No, it would not end that way. Saturn slowly stood up.

Jadeite was surprised at Saturn's rising, very well, he would simply knock her down again.

Saturn raised her Silence Glaive and began to speak, but fell again. She was greatly weakened from Jadeite's attack.

Jadeite began to move in on Saturn. 'This girl's energy will serve the Dark Kingdom well" He prepared to attack.

Light flashed, and a tall woman appeared between Jadeite and Saturn. Her long green hair fell behind her back. She was dressed in a senshi uniform not unlike Saturn's, though her's was trimmed in a rich maroon.

"I will not permit you to harm this girl"

She thrust a large staff, which resembled a key, into Jadeite's face.

"You will leave, now"

She stared at him, burgundy eyes studying.

Jadeite knew now would be the time to retreat. He did not know the extent of this woman's powers. He did not want to know her powers. He conjured up a warp hole, and growled as he made his exit.

"Yes, as you are the Senshi of darkness I am the senshi of time. I am Sailor Pluto"

"How did you know I would be here? Did Luna tell you" asked Saturn

"I am the Senshi of time, I know many things. We will be fighting side by side, although I will not always be able to help" replied Pluto Saturn nodded

"You will have to find the other senshi, there are many others" Pluto got up to leave, as if on a second thought she turned around to speak again

"Saturn, not every one that seems evil, is evil"

"Jadeite, your failure has greatly disturbed me. Explain yourself" said a woman with red hair inside a cavernous throne room

"Queen Beryl, I was attacked by a girl who calls herself Sailor Saturn"

"I will not tolerate any more failures"

"Yes my queen" said Jadeite while bowing deeply

Today on Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Saturn, I found out that if you have green hair, you can scare people with a big stick.
