~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Circles of Time: The Letter By: Masked Maiden Author's Notes ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Normally, I would have my author's notes at the beginning of a chapter. But considering that I feel this will be rather long, I am making it a part in itself. So either bear with me or continue with the prologue. I prefer that you stick around, and it's your choice. This story, "Circles of Time: The Letter" is probably my baby among all the stories I have written. I had this story in planning and was writing it a year before I even finished a final copy of the first few parts. (I have an 80 page rough draft of the entire story on my hard drive that I go by for guidance.) I hope my patience and planning will be paid off. "The Letter" will indeed be long. If you love novel-like stories, you'll enjoy this one. Even if you don't, please give this one a chance. It may grow on you. I use to hate long fanfiction. But ever since I started writing one myself I have started enjoying the longer works of art. I am not sure just how many chapters there will be for "The Letter," but I can guess at least 15. More than likely they will be more. In "The Letter", it will be dealing with the past. Not the Silver Millennium, but the present past. What was going in Tokyo before our heroes (preferably Mamoru) were born? In this story are the documentaries for two people, who will remain nameless for the time being. Or better yet, I will give you their family names: Meiou and Chiba. (Remember, this is a "Circles of Time" story. Expect the bizarre from us! *tee hee*) The story revolves around these two. However, you will find Kaiou and Tsukino as well. You could find others, such as Hino or Tenou, but that all depends on how the story progresses. If you want to know how everyone is connected, you have to read the story. Simple as that. Nice advertising, ne? ;) Also, "The Letter" deals with Christianity in some of the chapters. Now, I have been treated nicely on the discussion board when I talk about my life. (To me Christianity isn't a religion, it's life.) I hope you will do the same. If you cannot handle Christianity, you might not like this story. But at least consider reading it. I am not preaching or anything in this story. I don't think it should bother anyone. At least, I hope so. Coming towards the end of these author's notes, I would like to express much thanks to several people: M-chan for forcing, err, asking me to join. (I love you anyway, girl. ;) Thank you to the CoT authors that have looked over "The Letter" and have reviewed it for me. Special thanks to Meara for proofreading this story, especially parts I ended up never using in the first place! You are the woman! Thanks to my friends, Andrea (who will always be my Ane-chan), Davey, Anne, Liz, Kiersten, Misty, John, Nicki, and Anna. I love you all! And thank you, God, for giving me the ability to write. Iesu ha watashi no kyuuseishu! :) That's it. You may all go now. Go on, shoo! Onward to the prologue I say. Hey, I mean it. Hit that back button right now! Masked Maiden @--->------ ~*~*~ This novelette is dedicated to the two most important people in my life: my parents. They were the inspiration for the personalities of Meiou Megumi and Chiba Hitori. I love you, Mama and Daddy. :)
