Situation

Trelane has returned! Having escaped his parents, he has returned to seek revenge on the crew of the Enterprise for spoiling his fun in the past. Using the vast powers at his disposal, he easily captures the Enterprise crew, and a few troublemakers of the week to make it more interesting. Trelane then declares that they may vote on who lives and who dies to appease him.

Whoever receives the most votes in a weekly election will be transported safely back to the Enterprise, or some other neutral location. The sole person remaining will be hung or shot to death in a duel- Trelane hasn't decided which yet. When it gets down to two, the previous survivors will vote on who will live. Worse, he inflicts them with variant of the malady from `The Naked Time' causing everyone to give in to their innermost desires, instead of trying to escape, or form a consolidated Federation voting bloc.
