"Hey lookee, lookee! The new volume collection of OMG is out in Japan, and it has me and Noble Scarlet on the cover! Gee, don't I look neat on it?"

"And did you hear? I'm going to be in a movie! And Belldandy too! Okay.... well, Urd and Keiichi are gonna be in it too, but you're going to watch for me and Belldandy aren't you?"

Oh, you're done already? And you know a little more about OMG?

Well, since you made Bell-chan happy, she'll lead you back to the main page.

Current Events In OMG

Megami The Movie

Been waiting long enough havn't we? Well, patient and faithful Goddess fans rejoice. The movie is to be released this fall, scant months away. However, this brings up the issue of rights to the translation, when, who, Dubbed with the same voices, Subtitled (please Kami-sama, let me have a subtitled edition quickly!). Let's hold on for the ride and see where it goes.

Volume 17 Released

In Japan, Vol. 17 of the collected manga of Oh My Goddes has been released. It contains Chapters 98 through 104, which for those who may not know wraps up Velspar's plotline and then in Chapter 102 starts a story about Banpei and a robot girl. The cover art is very nice, especially the piece with Skuld and her angel Noble Scarlet.

What? You want to see it? Oh, you want to see the whole book... well, it's in japanese, Dark Horse hasn't gotten that far in the translations, but if you really want one, head over to the contest page. There just might be some information there, and even a picture of the cover.

OMG Movie

Okay, most will have heard a little bit about this. The OMG Movie is still under production in Japan. From what I have heard of various sources, the best estimate for a release is optomistic for early next year. For us fans in the U.S., things do look good for a release here soon after the Japan release. Rumors have it that a company is in negotiation, will it be Animeigo, who brought us the OAVs? Or will we all have to add another company to the copyright listings? I guess we'll see.

10 Year Anniversary

Yes, that's right. OMG was created 10 years ago in japan. Of course, it hasn't been in the U.S. that long unfortunately. Anyway, there have been a few things in Kodansha's Afternoon (the magazine that runs OMG in Japan) celebrating the 10th Anniversary. Too bad it's not easy for the non-japanese fans to get in on that kind of stuff.

Oh My Goddess is property of Fujishima Kousuke, and in the US is distributed by Animeigo (the anime), and Dark Horse (the manga). So in short, we don't claim anything on this page but the name OMG WebRing and the workload. Nice of us, ne?
