10/5 Writing today on FALL BREAK! Who among us does not love a full week off randomly in the middle of the fall? This is greatness. Yesterday, I worked at Crabtree, which was fine, as usual. Today I've got not a lot going on that's planned. On the agenda: an aerobics class, grocery shopping, Garden Ridge, Home Depot, David's Bridal (don't be scared... getting a different top to go with the skirt I wore at Sara's wedding, for the Texas Voices concert), and just general house cleaning. I moved around the wall units in the living room about a week and a half or two weeks ago, and all the stuff that used to be neatly stored on the wall units is now messily spread about the living room/dining room area. That, my friends, has got to stop. So, that's on the agenda. So, all those things basically need to get done at some point in the next three days. I work again on Friday and Saturday, Sunday is a normal day, and back to school on Monday. Well... anyway.... I've got to go get started on my day.
10/24 Well, the curtain has fallen, time has passed. Let's see... a few things have happened in the last month, I guess. I finally quit Crabtree, after 3 years... So now I'm just doing the teaching thing and whatever else there is to do on a given day. I'm singing in Texas Voices, as we know... also, at church, I'm doing the Bluegrass pickup group and Spirit Doves as well as Disciple Red. This coming Sunday, I'm the featured soloist with Chancel Choir and at the contemporary service. At Rice, we're working on Holiday music and All-Region music. Tomorrow night I'm going to Bass Hall to see the Indigo Girls (YAY!!!!!) for the third time in my life. I can't really think of much else going on... pretty much just life. Andrew and I are a week away from the six-month mark. So, that's very cool. Right now, I'm headed bedward. Night!
