5/5 Well, it's been a pretty amazingly long time since I wrote, and I don't know that I have a whole lot of time to write just now. But I'll take just a minute to very quickly say what's up now. It is Sunday night, the eve of exam week. I have an exam at 8am tomorrow morning in Literacy, and one Friday at 8am in Child Development. I have my scales test for piano Wednesday at something like 10:30 am. We finished up kids choirs this morning with our performance of God's Top Ten (about the Beatitudes, of course... jk). This semester I continued in ACap Choir and Jazz Singers. I have been working at Crabtree and Evelyn and continue there as well. I took my voice proficiency this semester and believe I have completed that successfully. I have also been working on the piano proficiency and am 5/6 proficient, which will hopefully change after Wednesday's scales test. Outside of working at C&E and the church, I have also been teaching voice to Claire Smith (Clint's little sister) on Sundays whenever we have time for each other. ha. This semester, besides my choirs, I took Literacy, Child Development, Strings, Teaching Music in Secondary Schools, and Choral Techniques. I think it's been a pretty good semester overall. After this week, I start Maymester at CCCC, taking World Lit. I'm taking June off to do VBS and possibly (I guess?) NHC Tour? In July I'm taking a lab science (some manner of Geology) at CCCC. Most of August I have off, then it's back to UNT. This time next year I will be done with classes per se at UNT. I will student teach in the fall of 03 and be a December graduate. That is about the extent of my life right at this moment. Hopefully, I'll update a little more in the coming days.
