7/3 Hello everyone. Just a quick update here before I skip the country for two weeks (almost). Thought I'd go ahead and acknowledge July and everything. Got back yesterday from the little jaunt to San Antonio with Clint and Ethan and Danielle and her mom. It was a nice little fun little trip, and STOMP was good as always. We also spent a little time on the Riverwalk, went to Joe's Crab Shack, that kind of thing. Played a lot of Spades. heh. Today is a day for packing and last minute things of that nature. I have a nail appointment here in about 30 minutes... must get those nails taken care of, you know. I'm going to get them very trimmed and then have them do a French manicure (duh). haha I'm such a geek. And really that's about it. Clint is being so kind as to deliver me to the airport at 9 in the morning and then, even kinder, go and play in the Country Place 4th of July parade. I fly out at 11:40, to Pittsburgh... stay there for an hour or something and then fly to Paris. By the time I get to Paris it'll be something crazy like 7am there, Thursday. I return Monday night, about 8 o clock. This is, 12 days later on Monday the 16th. Until then I'm letting Clint carry my cell phone... just because he asked nicely. ha. And really, that's about all I know... So, I'm going to go and get ready for the nail appointment and all that mess, and I'll be back to update this page in two weeks. Au revoir!
7/18 Hello hello everyone. Well, I have returned from France. My internal clock is still a little crazy... I got up at 6 this morning, because after all, it's one o'clock in the afternoon in Paris. Taizé was awesome... completely cool and awesome. I could try to update all about it here, but I think I would be typing for several hours... so maybe something about the trip will show up in the Rambler section sometime this summer when I have time and energy. As far as actually current news, it's Splash Week, and that's my mornings... but other than that, I got a whole lot of nothing going on. Any day now I'll go up to the Mac Grill in Lewisville and see if they want me, not to mention stop by Denton to check my mail. But that's about as close to Future Plans as I get right now... so... maybe I'll write more later, but right now I've got to get gone to Splash Week!
7/24 Well friends, today is a landmark day in the life is Miss Terri Lee Worley. Today the new *NSync album comes out, and you know what? I'm going to finally show a little restraint and not buy it. Because, well, I can't afford it and I'm not going to use my credit card. So there. haha. So, in response to the problem of "what, you can't afford it?" I'm doing a thing or two. Thing one is that I had a job interview yesterday at Crabtree & Evelyn, and depending on what they tell me about hours and availability and stuff, and for that matter, whather they offer me the job at all... I may take that. We'll see. It looks like a really nice little place and a good clean fun job. So... like I said, we'll see. In the meantime, I'm just about to give JCP childcare a call and arrange to be out there working for them for the next few days anyway. So, that's what I'm doing right now. I move into my new place in Denton in just under a month, can you believe that? My summer is going to end soon... although admittedly not as soon as my dear PISD friends. Awww aw aw aw awwwww. Poor kids. Ah well, I think that's about it from me for right now.
7/31 Well, I took that job at Crabtree & Evelyn, and I've been actively working there for two days now. Today we finished up stocking the store and all that stuff, so tomorrow I go in for cash register training, and then I have Thursday off. And Friday the mall opens, so I'm working both Thursday and Friday. It's really a cute fun little job. The other girls working there are pretty neat too... so, yeah! Not too much has been up outside of that... PISD starts up on Thursday, and Mom leaves town that day for West Virginia. The church is also doing the groundbreaking for the new site tomorrow night. School starts in something like 3 weeks, or four maybe. [shrug] I thikn I'm about ready. =) It's going to be a good year though, I hope... things are looking up. And that's July for you... I'll try to put up August in a fairly timely manner...
