a summary of my activities in january 2003 write me!
January 2003 started in West Virginia for me, visiting family during the holiday break. I flew home on the 4th (my parents' 34th anniversary) and turned right back around to fly to Toronto with Jazz Singers. We sang at the annual IAJE convention and did very well, I must say. I also settled in to my apartment (which we actually secured in December just before Christmas) in Plano. Also, Sara's wedding plans kicked into high gear. Yes, Sara and Pat got engaged on November 23rd, wedding on June 21st. So we did the dress shopping and whatnot in January. The rest of January was pretty much devoted to starting my last semester in Denton. 13 credit hours: Music History, Jazz History, Legal and Professional Issues, Vocal Jazz Techniques, Jazz Singers, and Percussion Methods.
