At the recent WORLD MUSIC AWARDS 1998 in Monaco, Savage Garden were
named Best selling Australian group for 1998. Record sales alone are used
to determine the winner. The World Music Awards will be broadcast on ABC-TV on Thursday, May 28,
from 9pm-11pm (Eastern) for US people. Canadians can see the Awards on
MuchMusic on Thursday, July 30, at 9pm (Eastern). There has been no news in Australia about the screening of the World
Music awards, but any news about a possible screening on tv will be
immediately relayed to Savaged Gardener members once announced.
1998 Elite Model Look Search
Savage Garden will be performing with other Colombia Record's artists, as
an itegral part of the 1998 Elite Model Look Search, the world's most
prestigious and renowned model search.
The band's music and videos -- as well as Savage Garden
giveaways -- will be featured as contestants vie
for the Elite Model Look title in competitions being held across
the United States. The Australian duo will make a rare live
American appearance at the Elite Model Look finals in
New York City on August 11.

All Around Me is the most current Australian Savage Garden Single however it is not being released to the public.
Savage Garden will be one of the ten performers at Z100's Jingle Ball 97. Unfortunatly the tickets were sold out in thirty minutes. This will be held at Madison Square Garden.
