Use your Probes to gather Minerals and Gas to supply your troops.

Nexi, Gateways, Pylons, Forges, Cybernetics Cores, Shiled Batteries, Photon Canons, and Assimilators are built by the Probe under this catergory.

Robotics Facilites, Stargates, Citadels of Adun, Robotics Support Bays, Observatories, Fleet Beacons, Arbiter Tribunals, and Templar Archives are built by the Probe under this catergory.

 

The Probe is the worker unit for the Protoss. They have several advantages over the other worker types. For one, they are robotic, they they can't be killed by Spawn Broodlings. When Probes build, they warp in a warp gate that builds itself. So a Probe only has to open the gate, then it can continue mining. But Probes also die easier than SCV's and Drones so you have less time to run them away.

The Shuttle is responsible for transporting your Protoss units across large distances with speed. You can put 8 small, 4 medium, 2 large, or any combination of the 3 into a Shuttle.

 

Shuttles are vital units on large maps, as well as island maps, and maps with choke points. They are also required for any kind of drop you may be planning.

Reavers manufacture and store scarabs which they use to attack with. If your Reaver runs out of Scarabs, they are useless, so make sure your Reavers have full Scarabs at all time.

 

The Reaver is a slow moving long range unit that do incredible amounts of damage. There are many drawbacks to Reavers thought. For one, you have to build their "bullets" called Scarabs. They also move very slowly and die quickly. There are also no match for Siege Tanks that are already in sige mode. If you happen to catch them when they are in Tank mode, they will die easely. But Siege Tnkas outrange Reavers by 3 points. Fill up 4 Shuttles with Reavers and drop them into your enemies drone line and you will royally screw them up for a long time, granted they don't have any air defense.

Observers are the best detection units in the game. For one, they are permanently cloaked. For another, they are small and move quickly, so they can remain undetected. You can also make several of these to maintain a constant observation of the expansions so you will know where and when to strike at your enemey. They have little life and have little armor so if they are found, they are goners.
