You look at the cover of the book which bears a strange symbol of some
obscure god.  The god's symbol appears to be a 2-dimensional star encased
in a 3-dimensional sphere frame.  You quickly flip through the pages of
the text and encounter such entries as :

  '..greed overflows in the land of men, a worthy man shall learn
   how to make use of such knowledge, and manipulate others to
   his bidding by correctly wielding it's power...'

Very odd book indeed...
