I thought that I would let a character from the game introduce the arcade story line for me. The arcade Japanese version would be alot more accurate, Especially considering that this is not even the original English translation. I have added the Japanese Master System/Mark III version, to add some accuracy to the plot.

The fight with the Dragon, that the character above mentions, is recorded below. This is from the arcade version.

The Arcade ending shows the escape of a character that we meet again in Round 14 of the arcade version of Wonder Boy III Monster Lair. This ending is not shown on the Master System version of the game. So have a good look Master System fans.
