When you are playing in a 2 to 4 player battle royal or point match, you can go off radar! To do this you must fly as close to the ground as possible and you will not appear on other player's radar. This is very useful since you can sneak up on your friends and blast them down before they figure out you're even near them!
Vehicle Guide

In order to maximize your score it is important to master every aspect of your vehicle's control. Here is a quick guide to some of the craft's capabilities.
Arwing
Throttle
A lot of the levels require you to slow down in order to get the maximum amount of
kills (especially Area 6). Get used to playing whilst holding down the break button.
Lock On Blast
By holding down the fire button you can build up a charge of green energy that has a
larger blast radius then your regular laser. Once the blast is charged simply move your
aiming target over an enemy to lock on. Press the button again to release. If you hit an
enemy with an energy blast without locking on, you will automatically get a +1 hit.
Homing Bomb
After you have charged up a green energy blast and locked on to an enemy target, try
launching a bomb instead. The bomb will actually home in on your target like the
energy blast would. Deadly.
Premature Bomb Detonation
Once you have launched a bomb you can detonate it at any time by simply tapping the
bomb button again. Useful for short range targets. Or if you miss.
Sharp Turning
In the 360 degree levels you can turn left or right faster by rolling whilst turning. Press
left or right and repeatedly tap the Z or R button respectively to turn faster. Also, try
breaking whilst turning for a tighter turn radius.
Looping and Immelman
If your throttle meter is full you can perform one of the Arwing's two 'special'
maneuvers by pressing down and either accelerate or break. The loop is handy for
evading enemies on your tail and collecting items stacked vertically, while the
Immelman allows for a quick turn around in the 360 arenas.
Landmaster
Hover
The Landmaster's most useful power is the ability to hover momentarily by holding
down Z and R simultaneously This allows you to both fly over obstacles and get a
better trajectory for shots when there is something is blocking your path.
Roll
By double tapping either the L or R button you can make your Landmaster roll. In the
four player Vs mode this makes your tank effectively turn around, like the Arwing's
Immelman.
Blue Mariner
Lock On
The Submarine's lock on system differs from the other two vehicles, in that you have
use the Bomb button to fire missiles, and you do not need to charge them up first.
However, you can only have ONE MISSILE ON SCREEN at a time. Once that
missile detonates you can fire the next. Be careful you don't fire a missile at something
in distance when you need to shoot multiple targets in the foreground. Click your stick
left or right to lock on to your next target.
Move The 64 On The Title Screen

After you beat the game using any path, reset the machine and when you see the characters start to talk on the title screen, just use the analog stick to move the 64 around!
Expert Mode, Graphic Equalizer In Sound Test, Tanks In Four Player Vs Mode

To unlock Expert Mode and the sound test Graphic Equalizer you must achieve medals on all 15 levels. In order to get a Medal on a level you must beat the stage with a specific number of hits (or more) and all of your wing men ALIVE.
Characters On Foot In Four Player Vs Mode, New Title Screen

Achieve medals on all 15 stages in EXPERT mode and you will be able to play as Fox, Falco, Slippy or Peppy on foot in Vs games.
Secret Starfox 64 Art

Complete the game in Expert mode and wait for the end of the credits. Depending on whether you went through Venom 1 or 2 you will get two different pieces of art. One is a picture of all the characters in the game's heads, the other is a cool portrait shot of the Starfox team with the word 'Great!'
Warps & Tips

Unlike the original Star Fox, multiple paths are not selectable from a map. You must perform tasks in certainlevels to get to the other levels.ZONESS TO SECTOR Z In Zoness, if you shoot down all the spotlights on the stage, you then go to Sector Z when you complete the stage.
MACBETH TO AREA 6
When you hit the last leg of the stage, shoot the red pillars with metal
direction flags on them so they turn green. Keep a very careful eye out for
them. (Hint: If you went to Zoness before MacBeth, Cat will come and help
shoot those hard-to-reach switches.) At the end, where the switchboard light
is, a switch will appear. Quickly shoot it and the track will move to the
right. Now the boss kills himself, with a nice 50-point bonus, and you're off
to Area 6!
GET TO AQUAS
All you have to do is get a score of 100 or higher in Sector Y to warp to
Aquas, the submarine level.
WARP TO SECTOR Z
In Sector X, keep left at all times. You will eventually hit an area where
you have to quickly destroy white gates to pass through them. Destroy and
pass through all of them to warp!
WARP TO TITANIA
Near the end of the Meteo Field, you should see rings made of sharp triangles
pointing inward. Go through one and you jet forward in a barrel roll. Go
through all of them (very tough) and it will make you go fast enough to warp.
GET TO KATARINA
At the end of Sector X, shoot the head off the boss with the big hands. When
the second one grows, dodge him, and let Slippy come in. He will get hit by
him and fly off to Katarina. Kill the boss and that's your next stage...to
find Slippy!
CORNERIA TO SECTOR Y
In Corneria, when Falco is being attacked by three ships, help him by killing
the ships. When you get to the water part with the rock arches, go under
every arch. Then head right into the waterfall. Falco will guide you to an
alternate boss, which, when defeated, leads you to Sector Y.
MEDAL OF HONOR AND EXPERT MODE
By meeting certain requirements on levels, such as a high score, you will
receive a Medal of Honor for that stage, shown on the planet. Get one Medal
on each stage, and you will go to the Expert mode. For example, to get the
Medal on Fortuna, you must beat the whole Star Wolf Team.
KILL STAR WOLF TEAM MEMBER EASILY
NOTE: This does NOT work for when you meet the Star Wolf team on Venom on the
hard difficulty (see below). Have one of the Star Wolf team members chase you
and let him start to shoot at you. Immediately do a forward barrel roll (down
on the Control Stick and left C). As the camera zooms out to show the roll
back, the ship will fly past you and will head either to the right or left.
Remember which direction they went as you fly back forward, while charging up
a shot. Turn to the direction he was going, lock on him, shoot the power
shot, then rapidly shoot him. If you have the blue double laser, he should be
dead with no damage to you. If you use the single laser, you may have to do
this twice.
KILL STAR WOLF TEAM MEMBER EASILY (VENOM - HARD)
First, make sure you have as many friends as you can. This helps in
distracting the
ships, so you can get clear shots. Second, only use normal laser shots. Bombs
and Super Shots don't work. Third, remember that the barrel roll defects
shots! Fourth, when one (or more) is chasing you: Do a forward Barrel Roll,
and he should go
under you and fly left or right. Then, when your power comes back,
immediately do a
U-Turn (down on the Control Stick and down C). Search around left or right a
bit, and
you should see the ship that was chasing you and a few others that are
wandering
around looking for you. Now is the time to get your shots in. You will have
to repeat
this over for a while so be patient!
