Unfortunately, due to the large amounts of downloads the site is getting, we are using more than the allotted amount of data transfer that is provided for a free web site, which is 3 gigabytes per month (measured on an hourly basis). That means that the site can be temporarily turned off anytime to keep the bandwidth within this limit so in order to prevent this from happening, we are obligated to close some galleries (large files such as images and multimedia files can effect data transfer greatly. A single web page that contains 200,000 bytes of images will only be able to be viewed about 20-25 times an hour. By keeping file sizes and page sizes as small as possible, the amount of page views the site can produce can be maximized) for a period of one week so there can be less site downloads and we can keep all the galleries up instead of deleting them forever.
The thing is, the large amounts of downloads can make the site unavailable shortly if nothing is done to reduce it or if more disk space isn't bought, unfortunately, Geocities, our website host, does not currently offer a payment method this site can pay with, but we do not want to delete any of the galleries, so in order to keep them, the only way this site has seen as appropriate is to close 3 galleries each week to reduce the downloads and keep the site running smoothly.
If you can not wait for a week and the gallery you want to see is closed for a week, you may request the images of that gallery at our e-mail and we will happily send them to you by e-mail with their appropriate credits and the usual details that appear in each gallery.
Please have in mind that if it is needed, more than 3 galleries will be temporarily closed and if the situation calls for it, some sections or parts of them will be temporarily closed as well or instead of the galleries.
