(Sunset on Utila, viewed from the deck of Utila
Reef Restaurant)
Having gotten the opportunity
to dive on several occasions now, I felt it was time to learn more.
I spent a week on Utila Island, Honduras recently solely to dive.
I got my PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification, and really had a
great time diving. Diving has got to be one of the most peaceful,
beautiful, and astounding sports or hobbies there is. I have enjoyed
every minute I've spent underwater.
I have scanned in some pictures
I took while on Utila. There are also more pics on my Utila
page. Enjoy!

The back of the Utila Dive Centre...Great dive
shop!!!
A nice view of one of Utila's lagoons
The front entrance of the Mango Inn, where I stayed.
Hotels in Utila are very spartan, with only the better
ones providing "amenities" such as hot water,
air conditioning and 24 hour electricity.
Not only does the Mango Inn provide these "extras",
they do so with style and service.
An excellent choice should you travel to Utila.
Ask for Bobby Day, one of the owners.
