Bio

Well, since you're visiting my home page, I can only assume you'd expect to find something about me here.  So, here goes nothing.

Well, this is one of the most recent pictures of me that ANYONE has.  I'm not a big fan of the photograph.  While you will find some pictures of me on this website, I assure you that they are just about the only pictures of me in existence.  I'm just not thrilled with how I look in pictures.

I'm 31 years old.  I have lived in New Jersey almost all of my life, and I loved it.  However, I recently (3/99) moved to Missouri, and once I got past the initial culture shock, I enjoyed it! I get plenty of opportunity to visit other states, and countries, and thus far, I've only found two places I'd LOVE to LIVE (not visit of course, I'd rather VISIT just about anywhere!): Arizona and any island in the Caribbean.  I've been to Sun Valley in Arizona, and if I could make as much money there as I do here, I'd be gone in a heartbeat.  And the Caribbean?  Well, if I could earn enough just to be comfortable I'd move!  Hell I'd sell seashells or dive for oysters if it would pay the rent and put food on my table on an island!!!

Currently, I am an Assistant General Manager for Northwest Airlines (click here for more about that), and worked for Continental Airlines for about 7 years previously.  Prior to that, I learned some important life lessons when I owned my own business for about 5 years.  Found out that making money wasn't as important as enjoying what you do, and since I didn't enjoy what I was doing, I wasn't that good at making money EITHER.  Luckily, I found out that I love the airline industry, and that's where I plan to stay for a while.

Obviously, I'm interested in computers.  I have been working on computers since I was in the 5th grade - 1979-80 for those of you keeping track.  I learned BASIC on a Tandy TRS-80 Model 1.  I graduated to the Model III at school, and at the same time received a Timex-Sinclair with the 16K memory module (a lot of memory at that time!) at home.  I outgrew the Timex in about 6 hours.  Soon after, I moved on to the Commodore Vic-20 and DX-64 (a portable version of the C-64 which included disk drives (2) and a monitor - an early, 25 pound laptop!), and of course the Apple IIe.  Got my first PC around 1985-86, and have never switched from PCs, which officially makes me Mac ignorant. I'm currently tinkering on an AST Pentium III 500MHz wth 128 meg ram and a 13 gig hard drive, DVD and cable modem. I also mess around on my Compaq Presario 1800T PIII laptop.

The Internet was bound to capture my attention, as I'd been using Compu$erve since the mid-80s. Now my primary use for my computer is the Internet.  This web page is something that began as a lark, and is currently in its third or fourth generation.  Considering I have ZERO education on HTML programming, I'm impressed withmyself.  Hopefully you are too, somewhat!  I love to get feedback about it, especially glowing reviews...so feel free!  Email me!  (I'll listen to constructive criticism, too!)

My interests (which you've probably guessed, since they're on the nav bar on the left) are scuba diving, music, computers, and one that's not listed, theatre.  I love seeing shows on Broadway.  My current favorites are Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables.

I guess that's it about me.  If there's anything else you need to know, you're going to have to ASK!
