    sheltering institution.

What is the Chapter's Stance on Hazing?
The Delta Beta Chapter of Phi Sigma Pi holds a very strict anti-hazing policy set by the members. No alcohol will be present at any Phi Sigma Pi event where initiates or candidates are present, and no alcohol will be present at any Phi Sigma Pi event taking place on the UA campus. The brothers of the Delta Beta Chapter of Phi Sigma Pi have worked extremely hard to reach the position we now hold and would never jeopardize our chapter by participating in any kind of hazing.
How much time is required of me once I become a member?
We have weekly meetings, on Monday nights, usually an hour in length. You are required to participate in three social, three service, four rush/initiate and three fundraising events each semester. You are also required to join a committee. Each committee meets on its own schedule, which is determined by the committee head and committee members.
What is my financial commitment?
Naturally, no active organization can function without costs. At Phi Sigma Pi, we strive to provide the greatest opportunities at the lowest possible cost. Here is a breakdown of the cost to join and the benefits you will receive. The cost to join our program is $40.00, due at candidate pinning (one week following bid distribution). This one-time fee covers the cost of your program materials and local chapter dues

The candidate program lasts 8 weeks and ends with a formal induction ceremony. At that time, your $135 initiation fee will be due. This one-time fee covers your membership materials (pen, pencil, folder and decal), your membership certificate, an undergraduate subscription to our national newsletter, opportunities to attend Grand Chapter Conferences and National Conventions each year, and your membership pin (which you will receive during your induction). This also offsets national staffing costs and services they provide which helps us run our chapter and helps our national organization.

The dues you will pay each semester (starting the semester following your induction) are $50.00. You are responsible for dues during your undergraduate years only.
We do not want financial obligations to keep you from experiencing what Phi Sigma Pi can offer you. We will allow you to set up a payment plan with our treasurer to cover all or any of the costs, if you ever have need of that flexibility.
