Bids and Pinning: |
Bid distribution and pinning are the first elements of the rush process. A bid is an invitation by the chapter to continue to the initiation process. The pinning ceremony affirms the rush's acceptance of the bid. The rush becomes a initiate upon acceptance of the bid and completion of the pinning ceremony. |
Rush: |
The second step in becoming an active member of Phi Sigma Pi Delta Beta is the eight-week rush process. This process is designed to offer interested students an opportunity to learn more about Phi Sigma Pi as an organization, how we operate, what we stand for, and the kinds of events in which we participate. |
Induction: |
Induction occurs at the end of the initiation program and officially affirms the initiate as a full member of the Delta Beta chapter of Phi Sigma Pi. The induction ceremony affirms the initiate's acceptance to the brotherhood of the chapter. |
