I was born in Malvern, England in 19**. My dad was in the Belgium Paratroopers during WW II and was stationed there when he met my mother. He decided to impress her by jumping from a tree with her umbrella, wreaking the umbrella and starting a romance that has lasted 58 yrs.

Shortly before i was born, my Dad was on a training mission and when he made his jump his parachute was packed improperly and when he hit the ground he suffered a severe head injury which resulted in losing his eyesight. We moved to Canada when I was 21 months old and my Dad ran a C.N.I.B.(Canadian National Institute for the Blind) confectionary. We moved to a small farm when I was 13 because by then I also had 4 brothers and he wanted something to keep the boys busy. I always tell my Dad I am the best daughter that he has *ss*. When I was 19 I married my HighSchool sweetheart. Two years later he was killed in a car accident. I was carrying our first child at the time. It was a very hard time but after Carlie was born, having a daughter to love and care for made things easier. When Carlie was 5 years old, I met my best friend and soul mate. He wantes to be know as "The Millenium Man" on my homepage.

We were married a year and a half later and have been blessed with another daughter and a son. Our lives revolved around our children, during which we spent many hours at arenas and ball parks and ballet rectials. I taught Sunday School and 4H, and all through son's minor hockey days, I sat on the Minor Hockey Board . I was also registrar for the Board for several years. Hockey Moms was also on my agenda. My husband coached hockey and baseball . Some one once said to us "how can you waste so much time running your kids around". I told them that anytime that we spent with our children was not wasted time
