Location: Mojo has moved 115 feet north of his day 8 location.
Habitat: He was on a west facing slope in a young forest approximatly 40 feet from the field. He was alert and sitting on the surface of the leaf litter under a small Multiflora rose bush in the middle of a grove of American Holly trees. The canopy is primarily American Holly, White Pine, and Red Maple with an understory of Multflora rose, Blueberry, Blackberry, Greenbrier, Sumac and mixed grasses.
Box turtles are very well camouflaged when they are sitting on the forest floor among the dry leaves. See if you can find Mojo in the above photo?
