Location: Jimmy is in hibernation and has not moved from his last location. He is in the bottom middle of the above photo a few inches under the leaf litter.
Habitat: Blueberry/Mountain Laurel/Rhododendron patch in mixed hardwood forest.
Activity Status: hibernation. Not visible buried under leaf litter. Jimmy appears to have moved about two feet downhill and deeper under the leaf litter. I believe his movement is in response to the near zero temperatures the area experienced over the last week.
