"BONES TRACKS"

DAY 2:

Bones has moved 266 feet southwest from his previous location on the east side of the creek near the new pasture. He was partially buried under the roots of a small White pine stump. The photo above shows where Bones is in relation to the house on the property where he lives. Below is a close up of Bones as I found him. I did not disturb Bones because I do not want to disrupt his normal movements.

Day 2 Stats

Date: 9-4-07

Location time: 6:30 pm.

Habitat: Edge habitat at a small clearing with several burn piles, wood pile bisected by gravel road. Dominant vegetation: Grasses, Rhododendron, Mountain Laurel, White pine, Sourwood, American Holly and White Oak.

Elevation: 842m

Humidity: 31%

Temperature: 77F

Weather: Rain in area during day. Clear.
