Location: Bones has moved over 80 feet northeast of his last location.
Day 12 stats

Location time: 3:45pm.
Habitat: same as day 11. I found him sitting under a Mountain Laurel bush about 30 feet east of his day 6 location. He was sitting on the surface of the ground and had food on his beak--possibly slug juice.
Elevation: 786m
Humidity: 60% RH
Temperature: 81F in direct sun. 78.5 in shade @ turtle's location.
Weather: Clear. No rain over the last 24 hours.
Winds: E @ 1-2 MPH.
Barometric Pressure: 930.6 mbar.
I weighed Bones today. He is 10g lighter than when he was released just over a month ago. I believe this to be normal weight loss associated with natural feeding of a wild box turtle. The weight he lost was probably what he had gained while he was in captivity awaiting his transmiter. I will continue to monitor his weight on a monthly basis.
