The Parisite Awards have become a tradition among the Parisites. The tradition began in 1997 and
has continued every year since then. The process contains two rounds; the nomination round and
the voting round. During the first round, each Ite nominates a person or story for each category.
The persons and stories which receive the most votes in the nomination round then move on to the
next round. During the voting round, each Ite votes for their favorite person or story in each
category. The person or story with the most votes wins! In the past years, the Parisite Awards
were organized by Kirsten. The 2000 Parisite Awards, however, were organized by Abbi.
