*...My Indian Good Luck Bracelet...*

Here you can learn about my beloved good luck bracelet. A friend gave this bracelet from an Indian temple (Indian as in from India not Native American). My bracelet is made of red and gold thread and has a piece of red cloth tied on it. My friend said that these bracelets are made by religious type people from the temple and that they are supposed to protect the person who wears it and bring good luck. The bracelet is tied on your right wrist and is left there until it one day breaks. If it breaks really soon that means that you have bad luck. When it breaks you have to throw it in the ocean, or a body of water that leads to the ocean, so that it can go back to India. I have had mine since the end of May 2004 and it is now November 2004. I will post updates about how my bracelet is doing with the months to come. I hope that it last for a very long time though because since I have been wearing it for so long it has sentimental value. One of the reasons I feel sentimental about it is because of all the things I have done, the places I have been, things I have learned and all the people I have met while wearing it. It has been everywhere with me and has a lot of memories attached to it.

*...Updates...*

It is now February 1st, 2005 and I still have my bracelet that I got back at the end of May 2004. So I've been wearing it for about 8 or 9 months straight. Here are some recent pics of it. It is very hard to take pictures of it though since it is on my right wrist and I am right handed.
