Boardslide (B/S)
In case you did not know, this description of a Boardslide is backside (B/S) because the obstacle you are grinding is on the back side of your body. These should be done on any shaped rail/pole.

1. Gain speed going exactly parallel to the obstacle you are going to grind.

2.
Pop an ollie but turn 90 degrees(half of a 180) to land on the rail.  At all times you should be leaning forward, or have your shoulders squared over the board.  If you fall forward, your obstacle needs some wax or you need more speed.

3. Keep your feet equally high and you can use your arms to balance.

4. To get off the obstacle at the end you have 2 choices, to fakie or to regular.

5a. Fakie: When you are approaching the end of the obstacle, you will turn your board 90 degrees again, the SAME way that you turned when you launched onto the obstacle.  So, by the time you are on the ground, you have completed a full 180 throughout the whold grind and you are going fakie.

5b. Regular: When you are approaching the end of the obstacle, you will turn your board 90 degrees again, the OPPOSITE way you turned when you launched onto the obstacle.  So, now that you are on the ground you should be moving regular.
