In 1193 B.C., Prince Paris of Troy stole the beautiful Greek woman, Kelen, away from her husband, Menelaus, the king of Sparta, setting the two nations at war with each other, as the Greeks began a bloody siege of Troy using their entire armada, lead by Achilles, that lasted over a decade.

RELEASE DATE: May 14st, 2004 (USA) DVD RELEASE DATE: January 4th, 2005 (USA) SHOOTING DATES: April 2003 -- September 2003 - The impending war in Iraq forced the production to move from Morocco to Baja, California in February 2003. The movie was originally scheduled to use Malta as well as Morocco and other African countries for filming. - Director Wolfgang Person left the proposed Batman Vs. Superman project to direct, and cast member Brad Pitt left The Fountain. - George Camilleri, a keen bodybuilder who won the title of Mr. Malta in 1989, broke his leg while filming an action sequence at Ghajn Tuffieha, Malta on May 30th, 2003. He was operated on the following day but suffered complications and died on June 17th of that year.
