Jackie Chan stars as Dragon Ma, an honest marine cadet in turn-of-the-century colonial Hong Kong, who must do battle with the smugglers and pirates terrorizing the south China sea in order to preserve his company's honor. At least three different takes were shot; two are shown during the course of the film, and a third at the end under the credits. - One of the stunts, involving a fall from a tower, almost cost Jackie Chan his life. - Followed by a sequel: Project A2 (1987).
