In this, the first film to unite the martial arts mastery of Jackie Chan and director/choreographer Yuen Woo Ping, action fuses with comedy to create a masterpiece of the genre. It is the end of the China Dynasty, and the 200-year-old clan known as the Eagle Claw Society has wiped out all forms of martial arts except their own style -- with the exception of a few remaining members of the Snake Fist School.
