This is the tale of Dr. Bruce Banner, whose participation in an experiment at a lab on the UC-Berkeley campus gone terribly wrong transforms him into the Hulk, a creature of incredible strength, whenever he becomes angry. Bruce's father is Dr. David Banner, who has himself passed on a dangerous legacy to his son. Turned into a monster of incalculable strength and stamina, Bruce goes on the run, chased for hundreds of miles by the military, lead by General Ross, the father of the fellow scientist, Dr. Betty Ross, that he loves.

QUOTES | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Bruce Banner: Even now I can feel it. Buried somewhere deep inside me. Watching me, waiting. But you know what scares me the most? When I can't fight it anymore, when it takes over, when I totally lose control. [pause] I like it!
Dr. David Banner: My son is...unique. And because he is unique, the world will not tolerate his existence.
Major Glenn Talbot: You pathetic freak! Bruce Banner: You're making me angry. I don't think you're gonna like me when I'm angry. |
