The heart, because the heart has been broken. The rainbow, because the rainbow represents a new beginning.

When abuse, any kind of abuse, is present, it hardens the heart. It subdues feelings, it interferes with what would otherwise be a great relationship.

A rainbow represents the end of the storm, and the beginning of a new day. A new day where you have control of YOUR life. A new day when you can say what can and can't happen to YOU!

This site is intended to give anyone that has experience with abuse, any kind of abuse, a podium to speak out. Writing can be one of the best therapies ever. You can start getting rid of the demons that have haunted you for all of your life

We are hoping that not only will this shed a light on a major problem in society today, but that for those who write of their experiences, it will help them deal with the psychological burdens the experience leaves them.

Please, if you have had experiences with abuse, tell us your story. Names are not important, in fact, any names mentioned in YOUR writing, will be deleted. We have no way to verify any of these stories, and for legal reasons, we cannot mention names.
We are taking the authors word that it happened, or worse, is happening!

We do, however, need to give credit to the authors, so include whatever name you wish it credited to. Screen names will do fine, although real names will add authenticity to your story (if you feel comfortable doing so).

No story, and we mean "NO" story will be published without giving credit!

Please submit your story. It could very well help others as well as yourself.

Hopefully, what we have included here will help everyone understand and deal with the problem of abuse.
