White: Worn to create and maintain a distance from others, white is a cool colour. A room with all white walls is impossible to heat properly. It is a neutral colour which purifies the physical, emotional, mental or etheric bodies. It provides peace, protection, purity and truth, and is a pure, undirected energy. This is the colour for Kether in the Tree of Life and the numeral 1. In reference to the rainbow and refraction of colour, it is 0, the source.
There are no white auras.
Pink: In TM concepts, this is a "warm fuzzy" rather than a "cold prickly". Pink is love, self-respect, self-worth. It softens and brings more loving feelings dealing with emotion, love and friendship. This form of love is a very earthly, amatory vibration of love and is usually a younger colour worn to appear happy, at least on the surface.
There seem to be no discussions or studies of pink in the aura.
Red: Red is the element Fire. It is the first number l, related to the rainbow and 5 (Geburah)in the Tree of Life. Energy, sex, courage and assertiveness are its influences. Red raises energy. It relates also to strength, vigor and vitality, danger and health. Middle C is the vibratory note for this colour. Its correspondences are Aries, Leo (red-oranges) and Sagittarius (crimsons and "true" reds). Scorpio responds to the deeper reds. Mars, Tuesday, war, enemies and prison come under red's influence. It stimulates the senses and warms. Enthusiasm and passion are its hallmarks. Wear red to gain energy and to be more forceful.
In the aura, it indicates more energy and the ability to deal directly with others.
Orange: D is the vibratory note for orange, which is a rainbow numeral 2 and an 8 at Hod (Qabbala). This is a cheerful colour, freeing one from too many responsibilities. It promotes encouragement and kindness, stimulates respiration and inspires. It is strength, adaptability, luck, attraction and authority. The keyword for orange is honesty. This is a popular colour for teenagers who are searching for who they "honestly are". Mercury and Wednesday relate to orange vibrations.
Orange in the aura is normally a blend of yellow with temporary presence of reds but not common as a separate auric shade.
Yellow: Of the element Air, yellow vibrates to the note E, to 3 (rainbow) and to 6 (Tiphareth of the Tree of Life). Sunday and the Sun are its correspondences. It is mental awareness, nerves, confidence, learning, persuasion, charm, studying, clairvoyance and the mind. It provides strength of intellectual stimulation and inspiration. Gemini, Libra, Aquarius, fortune and money relate to its vibration. It is another cool colour worn to detach yourself from others.
All great teachers through the ages have had yellow in their aura. It is an indication of great knowledge and intellect.
Green: Vibrating to F, 4 (rainbow) and 7 (Netzach of the Qabbala), green is the element Earth and stimulates health and healing, financial well-being, energy, abundance, luck, self-control, fertility and growth. Its vibration cleanses, heals and invigorates. Green harmonizes and so it's good for those with nervous conditions and is a soothing cool colour. Those who wear green are frequently naturalists rather than materialists. It relates to Venus and Friday as well as to Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn.
In the aura, it indicates a healer. If found also with blue, the healing is usually emotional. Many counselors have a blue/green combination in their auras.
Turquoise: Decreases brain activity and flashes of intuition are common to the vibrations of turquoise, a blend of blues and greens.
Blues (Light, sky and "true" Blue): Belonging to the element of Water, blues have more shades and tones than any other colour. It is 5 (rainbow) and azure blue in particular is 4 (Chesed of the Qabbala). It vibrates to the note G. It soothes, calms, increases spiritual awareness and promotes devotion, healing, tranquility, understanding and truth. It is an excellent meditation colour. Blues are emotional and creative colour vibrations which calm fears and lessen anxiety. It relates to Jupiter, Thursday, Cancer, Pisces and Scorpio. Those who wear blues as their major colour are normally those who like people.
In the aura, blue inidicates a sensitive. Counselors and those who work to heal emotional difficulties will usually have blues in their auric shadings.
Dark Blue (Navy, deep royal and indigo): Vibrating to the note A, Saturn, Saturday, 6 (rainbow) and 3 (Qabbala), indigo is protective, promoting strength and calm. Other dark blues indicate ambition and dignity, sometimes depression and relate to Capricorn rather than the Water signs of the zodiac.
Indigo is rarely seen in the aura.
Violet and Purple: This is sometimes considered the element of Spirit and deals with transformation, elevating the soul. It is the seventh colour of the rainbow and relates to 9 (Yesod of the Tree of Life). B is its vibratory note. This colour deals in tension, processes resentments and sadness, heals differences and relates strongly to power. It relates to the Moon and Monday, heals deadly diseases and stimulates circulation. It is the higher octave of blue and is a meditation colour. Purple worn aspires to higher things and likes to be set apart ( Remember Caesar? ).
Rose (Magenta): This is a higher octave vibration which builds the aura and stabilizes it. Factors of respect, leadership, judgement and strength combine with love, elevating the strengths of red to more cosmic and universal qualities.
Gold: This is a higher octave of orange, the blend of yellow and red. Counseling, self-confidence, happiness, wisdom and communication are its areas of influence. Corresponding to the Sun, Sunday and higher levels of Tiphareth in the Tree of Life, gold is a colour of wealth and fortune. Market surveys indicate that including the word gold in a business name automatically strengthens the succes factors related to the endeavour.
When seen in the aura, gold represents the aspiration to higher things.
Silver: An intuitive colour, silver relates to the Moon, the subconscious and woman and is a higher vibration.
There is rarely a mention of silver in the aura.
Beiges: All of the Earth tones or blends of brown in the paler shades ( eggshell, ecre, beige, light tan, etc ) are neutral tints which reflect the qualities of brown in more suble fashion. Those who wear these colours as a dominant shade in their wardrobe are those who blend easily into the societal segement in which they find themselves. There is, sometimes, a tendancy to blend too well. This quality is the underlying difficulty seen in the concept of the "sterile beige enviroment" where the individual is but counts for very little. Those who wear beiges, however, are normally as practical and Earth-based as those who choose the darker tones of brown. In order to gain more insight related to the deeper or inner colour vibrations of this type of person, look for and observer the brighter accents chosen to wear with the pale, neutral browns.
Brown: The brown shades typify practicality and stablility. Their vibration is very much one of "back to Earth". Orientation is to physical objects, houses or homes and healing animals. Those who normally wear brown as their predominant shade are concrete minded and extremely practical. This is a slower vibration.
Brown is not a common colour for the aura. When it does occur, it will normally indicate a need for aura cleansing or a muddying of the aura rather than an intensification of the stabilizing or practical
Gray: These shades vary and range from the softer reflection of the silver to a lightening of the vibrations of black. A grayish gray expresses a slowing down and the possibility of depression. Wearing it as the dominant colour indicates illness and the depression. In the aura, the depression qualities are evident.
Blue-greys, on the other hand, are creative astral colours. The beauty of the creative nature and response is reflected positively in the aura.
Black: This is the true colour for Saturn and relates to Saturday and Binah. It absorbs and contains all colours. It relates to abstract thought, the material world, that which is protective and the destruction and absorbtion of negativity. Wearing black draws to you all the colour vibrations, all approaches and all responses. Consider the black frock coats of older days, the habits of clergy and the robes of the judiciary. These life choices and vocations draw all people and all vibrations to them.
When black appears in the aura, it may indicate illness or approaching transition from this incarnation.
