Special appreciation goes out ot my wife, Mrs. "The_Black_Knight", who toiled with extreme effort for three days to "customize" the castle and bring it beyond its original NOS appearance. After painting, the castle was varthane clearcoated for high gloss appearance and extra durability.
One of the few pinball machines that "gets it all right...."
This game features the era of whimsical knights, dragons, and fair maidens all rolled into an inspiring sound and gameplay package.
This game is one of the most sought after games in pinball history since 1998, and for good reason. Its lower overall production in comparison to such games as Indiana Jones and Twilight Zone (produced in nearly 3 times the quantity), and its popularity in arcades even to this day, keeps quality examples of this machine out of the hands of all but the most serious of collectors. This is mostly due to increasing cost of the machine (supply and demand) over the past few years, due to rapidly interest in collectibility, and cost of replacement parts whether NOS or reproduced.
Many machines at this point have been played over 50,000 times, and are starting to show "wear and tear" in the past 7+ years in the market.

1) "Exploding" Mini Castle with a working drawbridge and gate
2) Playfield "Trolls" which pop up during gameplay
