Hi y'all!! My name is Becky Woltmann (Oertel) and I am livin la vida loca in Marshfield (Bakerville), Wisconsin. I am the ripe old age of 31. In January of 2000 I met a special person over the internet named Matt whom I've become very close to. On September 20th, 2002, Matt proposed to me on top of the Split Rock Lighthouse. We then drove to Thunder Bay, Ontario Canada where we bought each other's rings. It was a very romantic trip.
Matt and I flew out to Hawaii and spent 8/27/03-9/4/03 on Kauai and Maui. We got married on 8/28 by the Kilauea Lighthouse. My cousin Chris and his girlfriend Kari, who is now his wife, were our bestman and maid of honor. We had our wedding reception on September 6th, 2003, at Molitor's New Saloon in Abbotsford.
I gave birth to Kora Elizabeth Woltmann on May 28, 2004. By the date you can tell that she was our souveneir from Hawaii....we couldn't just take a seashell home. She weighed 9 lbs 4 oz. She is 3 years old and quite smart and mature acting for her age. She can count and is a whiz at putting puzzles together. She is such a delight. She loves listening to the Crazy Frog CD. Below you will see a picture of her room her daddy painted as part of a Finding Nemo theme!
I gave birth to our second child Monty Arthur Woltmann on June 1, 2007. He is such a cutie and a lady's man. That smile can make anyone's heart melt. He is almost crawling now and lunges for anything he wants. The toys strewn around make our living room look like a tornado hit. Below you will see a sample picture of Monty's bedroom that his daddy painted him as part of a Shrek theme room.
As you can tell by the Finding Nemo and Shrek bedroom painting, my husband is very art-talented....not like me. With this excellent talent, he has started his own side business of Woodburning or some call it Pyrography. You can check out his website here Acorn Artistry. If you're looking for that special gift for that special someone or even if you are looking for something to add the perfect touch to your log cabin, empty wall, or curio cabinet you should check it out. He will even do portraits if you send him a copy of the picture you want woodburned.
