Prologue
His fingers were laced through mine almost as perfect as one
of Justin's tennis shoes. They're
soft and welcoming as he twirls the two-karat diamond around my finger.
I love the way he touches me, the way he makes me feel like I am the only
woman in the entire world.
The way he looks at me, his peridot eyes sparkling not just
times like now, but all day long. His
smile is so welcoming, so warm, it fills my heart with joy and makes it jump a
thousand beats.
His arms are wrapped carelessly around me, yet holding me
tighter than a teddy bear. They
seem to fit around me so perfectly it's like we're two puzzle pieces made to fit
together.
And when we make love. Fireworks
explode around me, clouds are welcoming to hop on, my body, my mind, and my soul
lose control as he takes over every inch of me.
He fills every inch of my body and my head with love and passion.
It's so intense tears cascade over my eyelids and trickle down my face
like raindrops.
His lips brush away the strands of hair that tickle my nose
and dance around my brown eyes. I
feel like he's not only protecting me from those few annoying pieces of hair,
but the world we sit here watching together.
The sun sparkles across the endless sea like glitter, and the
birds soar above the waves searching for food.
It seems that it couldn't get more perfect than these moments
he and I share, it seems that nothing could touch us in this perfect little
bubble in the sand we're dancing inside of.
It seems…I was wrong.
