eyes fluttered open in the darkness. I
glanced at the clock, I’d only been sleeping for a matter of three hours.
I could smell the mixture of cologne, sweat, and passion surrounding us;
his arms were draped around me, his body spooning mine closely from behind.
I
smiled, my body still on a cloud as I thought about what had happened hours
before and the things he’d said. I
was about to pinch myself to wake up when I heard his deep, raspy voice whisper
“hey beautiful.”
My
smile grew a mile wide as I turned around, my hand holding his arms around my
waist.
“So
does this mean you’ll be with me?” he chuckled.
“No
more bullshit in bars?” I asked.
“No
more, only you,” he answered.
“Okay,
I guess, but you’re going to break Chris’s little heart,” I laughed.
“I’m
sure he’ll be fine, it’s only a small crush.
Besides, he has a bigger one on JC, so he’ll be fine,” Lance
shrugged.
I
bursted out laughing and then he dug his fingers into my sides, making me laugh
more.
“AHHH!
JAMES STOP!” I yelled as
he rolled over and pinned me on the bed, his hands around my thighs, causing my
body to jump below him.
We
never sleep there's just so much to do

“So
why do you love me?” he suddenly asked, pulling me close to him and into his
arms.
I
sat up and looked at him oddly.
“You
really have to ask why James Lance Bass?” I laughed.
“Yeah,
I want to know,” he looked at me.
I
cleared my throat and tried to sum up everything I’d felt in the past year.
“From
the moment I saw you, you’ve brightened my life.
You are everything that I am not and you’ve showed me how to be a
better person. You’ve picked me
up and you’ve let me fall, but most of all you have the biggest heart.
You’re smart, funny, and a little dorky too, which I love,” I
chuckled, he did too, “but I love you because you’re you.”
He
kissed my nose gently.

“I
always got jealous when you’d hang out with Justin or go for drives with JC,”
he admitted, his forehead wrinkling as he looked at me.
“What?”
I laughed, crinkling my nose.
“That’s
when I knew I loved you. When I got
greedy for you, when I wanted you all to myself,” he laughed, “I know it’s
stupid…but it scared me really bad Bella.”
I
rubbed the side of his face gently.
“Well,
they’re my friends, but my heart belongs to you, insatiably, forever,” I
leaned down and kissed his perfect smile.
“Love
you.”
